  • nice light show :D

  • @uniqdymand Yeap!

  • My old station, used to see them sparking up all night during ice/snow. What's crazy is that I don't think I ever took the LIRR during snow, never seen Locust Manor look like that.

  • @xN130x Glad you enoyed the video!

  • @xN130x

I took an LIRR train in the snow, but I never saw any sparks.

  • wow,nice ride

  • Thanks!

  • With all the security, do the authority ever mess with you while you are video taping trains

  • Sometimes they do but its not illegal but thats on the subway. Long Island Rail Road is cool depends where on what stations you film @!

  • If you have a chance you should video tape those bullet trains, man I hear that some of these trains can go more then 200 MPH. I think Amtrak has those trains.

  • I don't think we got bullet trains but I try to do Amtrak!

  • man i aint been through the locust manor station in a while...jus went through it this past Friday evening on the Far Rockaway line from Penn Station

  • Cool....I miss this station a lot!

  • yea my aunts mom lived a block from there but i forgot what street and this past Friday goin to Valley Stream(Far Rockaway train) STRAIGHT from Penn Station no connections at Jamaica

  • Oh wow thats cool!

  • what were you doing there in the rain, snow?

  • Maybe I was on my way home!

  • This is quite shocking video..

  • Why you say that?

  • Wow you don't get it.. Hmm maybe I'm the one that should leave that alone.. :P

  • Ha durr I got it.....you left out a word!

  • That part I know!

  • I think you hit the nail on the coffin....thanks!

  • that was cool the 3rail was sick.lol and saty away from it.lol

  • Yes it was sick and cool :)!

  • Its better if I show you than explain it to you!

  • I just got a call from my grandmother and heard the answering machine and heard that it was snowing in NY. It actually snowed in Las Vegas in December 2008 and it has not snowed there for years not even in 2007. I also know when I use to take the LIRR that the white lines in the middle of the tracks are dangerous and I once saw a ripped up destroyed balloon on the white lines at the Cedarhurst station.

  • If your reffering to the 3rd rail, yes they are very dangerous. The white covering is the 3rd rail cover, the 3rd rail is metal part where the sparks coming are from the 3rd rail shoe!

  • do those sparks affect the performance of the train?

  • No they don't, any train with a 3rd rail makes sparks!

  • i noticed sparks happen more often when the tracks are wet or covered with snow. that water must be conducting a lot of electricity

  • I like when it does that when its raining!

  • Theres nothing wrong with the tracks!

  • I love it when that happens. The only thing is that when trains go underground in stations, it smells like something's burning and it smells bad!

  • Me 2!

  • nice sparks!

  • Thanks :)!

  • happy 4th of july m8 :) 5*

  • Bring out the Roman candles :P!

  • :) haha good one

  • nice arcs. Why is the train moving so slow?

  • Thanks....well one a train left not that long ago and two is ice on the tracks!

  • because it passing thourth a station.

  • That's not the real reason it was moving slow....Long Island Rail Road trains pass through stations going over 40 MPH!

  • How come you can hear the shifting on the train slowing down but it didn't stop?

  • It was skipping the station.....a train had just left the station not that long ago and also it was ice on the tracks!
