how did you get to pick up the guitar?

He filmed the clip where he played the guitar the first time as the first clip, then put the guitar down and backed away. Then he changed where the 'split' between the videos was made to be able to pick up the guitar. Sorry if I couldn't explain that too well.

You can actually still see the SHADOW of the guitar that the one on the right sets down (sorry!)- well made though, i only saw that trying to figure it out. He keyed the croping between both images, arround the guitar...

you just have to set the guitar down and not move it until you pick it up in the next clip. its really not hard. and make sure you dont move the camera either

i know. in the first clip, the one on the right, he plays it and sets the guitar down. in the second clip, when you film it, dont move the guitar from the place you put it in the first clip. that way when you superimpose the second clip, the guitar is in the same spot. if you move it, then youll have 2 guitars. sry, that was a long one.
