@bassbeasty "real" guitarists don't use tabs ;-) it's not much of an art to read numbers and touch them on a fret board. then again, it's good to use to learn scales.
@DennChooch you sound like a hippie when you call music art. Music is closely related to science, unless you grew up during the acid rock phase, in which case, everything is art "man"
Is this for you? Well if you’re a beginner and need help on guitar come to my channel look through my videos if you don’t see what’s there for you, subscribe too me then email me as many questions you have and I will get back too you, I can promise you that,
Everyone calm down ... to state the obvious . it is his right hand from in front of us .. (I think this is what g06s2281 meant)... but whie playing it is your left hand... (unless your a oposing handed player.)
This might be a dumb question but what the difference between a acoustic guitar and a acoustic blues guitar other than the word blues? Is there a difference it sound, build or what?
is that a yairi DI91?? I just bought one on craigslist today for $1000 looks just like mine except mine has the AY on the pickguard and the abalony trim one body i beautifull.
0:00-0:11 - walk down three frets into an open position e7 chord, but include the b string in the walkdown. to get an idea of what this looks like, make a c major chord but put your middle finger on the g string instead of the d string. move this position up two frets this is the starting position. walk this down three frets and youll end up in the open e7 position.....now do the walkdown three times and then arpeggiate a b7 chord....
0:12-0:22 play the open position e7, a7, e7 while playing some riffs with your pinky. on the first e7, just add the D on the second string. on the a7, the riff on the 1st string is 2-3-2. on the second e7, the riff on the first string is 3s4 and then 3-2-0. also, on the chords here, and throughout the song he often hammers on the G# note on the e7 and the C# note on the a7 chord.
0:23-0:27 - this is all a7....the neat riff is this - do the a7 with your ring and middle fingers, and while in this position, bring your pinky up to hit the G twice on the low e string and then your index finger up to hit the F# twice on the low e string, all while remaining in the a7 position.....then walk down the a7 position from the 5th fret to the 2nd fret
0:28-0:38 - e7 chord...the one riff here is here slides the b note in the e7 up to a c# (i.e. 2s4) and then slides it back down....then he goes into a b7 chord and he alternates the bass line from b to an f# (on the sixth string) and back to a b.........then into an A chord with c# in the bassget this by barring the 2nd fret and adding the c# on the 5th string. he also actually adds the e note on the 2nd string. then go into a b7 remaining on the 2nd fret (i.e. a7 position shifted up two frets)
0:39-end - this is the kind of tricky part - play the g# on the 6th string together with the d on the 2nd string, then the open A string with the c# on the 2nd string, then the a# on the 5th string with the c on the 2nd string, then the b on the 5th string with the open b string, then into a b7 chord in the open position, and he finishes off with some weird form of an e chord, but the simple e7 will sound fine......and now youre playing the blues.....
That's sounds pretty good, man. Definitively there's something about the acoustic one that you never can get of any electric instrument, call it soul if you want. Hey, I am a Telly fan too, you know, but the WOOD...
That was pretty excellent. The only thing I would watch out for with you is that it sounds like all the notes have a little too much attack. They come out kinda harsh that way. Try playing a little softer and hit a few of the notes harder, it adds a lot more dynamic and feeling to your playing. I suppose that's more of a stylistic choice that I prefer. Sounds great though.
and righr aound 18 or 19 seconds... after you the A in the progression, durring the kind of slot for the "middle turnaround" if you know what i mean, i cant figure out the FUCK your doing. little hammeron pull off type of thing or somethng. real real nice
he has another video called "more fingerstyles blues guitar" where he shows the neck, but also, some people can pick it up by ear....if you think you can tab it out correctly, let me know. i'm still offering $100...
i love this kind of blues guitar, where people are not trying to show off how talented they are or how much "soul" they have...just a simple upbeat blues piece, i love it...if anyone can tab this out, i'll pay you $50, message me if interested...
