Hi man. Do you have noise problems with your JSX? I've been haven a buzz from all the channels (of course on the ultra channel the noise is very high, i can not take my hands of the guitar). There is also noise coming from the clean channel. It is really bothering me.

I just got one and got to got to crank it on Saturday...all the way up!

Oh my god, this thing is a beast. Super tight bass for an open back combo. This thing is Metal all of the way, but you can get just about any tone out of it as well.

Great clean sounds too, a ton of head room.

i have the jsx head and i recommend putting a eq pedal through the loop and a volume pedal too so you can crank the amp at low volumes to get a smoother tone

How do the EMG's compair to Seymour Duncan pick up's I think the EMG's are the way to go, they also look super clean and sleek and fit with almost any guitar xD Are you gonna build that ml :D

Couldnt tell you about seymour duncans I'm afraid, never used any. I put my first set of passives on a guitar last week, Bare

Knuckle Painkillers and im well impressed. Theyre pretty high output with ceramic magnets, they let more of the guitars character come through but I'm undecided. Im just an EMG whore!
