looks like a fun ride. was nice to see views of santa cruz. junior year of college, i lived on alhambra so it was cool to recognize the streets around there.
@sirlancegeo If you want to actually see some of Alhambra in some footage, check out my most recent video: 'John Soares Star of Westhavenbrook in a Terrible Accident.' Sorry its a nonesense video (there is no accident other than the film itself). I thought for sure the car would break down spectacularly and with the two of us it would be funny. But nothing happened.
No, this is in CA. Also the camera isn't out in front of the car. Its in the nose. Because a Europa is a mid-engined car it doesn't have anything in its nose. So I made a mount for a camera and I just take out the wire mesh grill and hit record.
Cool!!! Reminds me of C'était un rendez-vous, except you're not in Paris... and you're obeying more rules of the road (at least you stop for red lights).
I thought about doing it like Rendezvous, but the sun isn't rising till 7 now here and there's already traffic out then (even on a Saturday). Plus I don't think I could get Kaycee to stand out in the cold and wait for me that early in the morning.
There was one camera mounted in the nose and another in the trunk for the engine sounds. I then took the camera out of the nose and filmed about 5 minutes of shifting/steering and spliced it in .

I like it! I'd be scared to have my camera out on the front of my car though. I'd be afraid that it would get damaged. So do you live in FL?

Did you use two cameras to shoot this, or just one and did two passes in the car?
Also, do you own the Europa or is it a family member's car?

Yes to both.
