@wexenhex you can say that all you want, but you're fucking wrong--listen to Nocturnal, you're not going to find one fucking breadown; these are a key element of what makes deathcore, "deathcore." While they do often get lopped into that genre, i would just regard them as a mild form of melodic death metal that isn't as underground or "cult" as say, entombed or dismember. They employ many of the common structures that form the basis of melodic death metal, just with streamlined production.

and yes i would say they are a bit of melodeath, metalcore and black metal as well, but the thing is that they come off very poserish to me. they sound as if they are just copying riffs without any good structure or good style to it. it sounds very...eh...amateur and childish to me. they arent terrible or anything, some songs sound alright, but they are nowhere near bands like At the Gates, Dark Tranquillity or Insomnium at doing melodeath
