Wow, I believe this video has answered everything i wanted to know.

If I could suggest one thing, it would be if you put level requirements :D Other than that, amazing job man. I got into FF4 really late, but it's definitely my favorite.

ahahahaha. Mindflayer took me 20 minutes, (only 6 fights without treasure hunter), artemis bow took 30 minutes, and I find deathmasks to be the easiest enemy ion the subterrane because on the first turn, have rosa dualcast dispel, then slow, and have rydia cast stop, and BAM! easy victory.

All enemies on the moon surface have 100% chance for death to work if you use Odin, when you run into flood worms or 4 black flans and 2 dark grenades or lunar viruses etc, use odin for instant victory, 0% chance for it to not work from what I've seen, unless you think you can kill faster with normal attacks but either way its 1 turn battle. also I cant make money to afford upkeep on stardust/sirens to get 5 pink tails its getting ridiculous, is proto-babil/geryon any good gil? how get good gil?

From my experience, putting Cecil in the back row when farming for Pink Tails is actually better than having him in the front row. He takes less damage, since he's in the back row, and the damage he deals from using Stardust is unaffected by this.

I was in the Lunar Sub when I came across the red dragon for some crystal gloves and I had leveled all my characters to around 73 unintentionally 'cause I got confused. xD Then the Red dragon killed me and I didn't save it at all... =(

You don't set counter to stardust, you just set it to use stardust on autobattle.

to have stardust as a counter just put stardust in your action bar and don't put

any attack skills and counter augment.

i.e

Stardust

Treasure Hunter

Draw Attacks

Counter

Item

and set your auto battle to defend

if your fighting flan princess.

The people who ported this final version of FFIV are fucking jackasses. How are you supposed to stand up to the thermal rays attack when it does 3k dmg. Hold on to the ice armor you got from way back?

it took me like 3 months to get 2 adamant armours and 3 of each onion item. i got all my party from level 70- level 99 while geting the tails

yea or you could steal them? plus resetting recalculates the drop rate for items, ive heard that save stating worked on ff iv in that way but knows?

Sadly, Tails can't be stolen. I wouldn't recommend resetting, as you lose all the Gil and other items you've collected while Tail-hunting.

It took me a while to collect all the items, also, im trying to get a rune axe or two at the moment from Armour Constructs, it's a little harder without kain.

I must be lucky, I've gotten the red, blue, green and yellow tails within the past thirty-six hours, on top of the Mindflayer summon. Now, that's gonna make the second red tail easier to get. :D Thank you for this video!

Those of you using the Mindflayer against the Red Dragons, be careful of it failing and not paralyzing the dragon, I've just had that happen within two battles and nearly had my party wiped, even at level 99.

I dunno why getting rare items is so addicting in Final Fantasy IV, but it just is.

I got incredibly lucky and got a Black Tail after defeating only 10 Armored Fiends. I'm trying to get the Red Tail now, but Red Dragons are awfully annoying, even at level 99.

Here are something people might like to know

Cursed ring decreases all stats but it absorbes the elements that you are protecting against for example if you were wearing diamond armour it would make you drain lightning damage instead of reducing it

:black tail is the most annoying to get but you can make money by selling the axes the armoured fiends drop.

Treasure hunter bearly helps, you need a lot of luck =/

Sadly, it's true that you lose EVERYTHING BUT the augments in your items, rare items-Silver apple, Golden apple and Soma Dorp (Unsure if I was able to keep the Dark Matter), and the augements you equiped when you enter a New Game+ or a New Game++.

(I call it New Game++ because it's a new game+ to a new game+ Confusing-isn't it?)

I farmed all this in my first playthrought. In the second I just played low level challenge with all adamant and onion stuff. Finally I haven´t started my third playthrought yet.
