Allendale, if you are interested, the best recording of "Heartaches" that is in instrumental form (besides yours, which is excellent) was recorded by Ted Weems, with whistling by Elmo Tanner, circa 1940

FYI ya all.."Heartaches"... music by Al Hoffman and lyrics by John Clenner. Published in 1931. Another fine piece played by Allen Dale :-)
