@Theladygaga813 Thanks for saying that. If you are wearing rental skates I would be surprised if your feet didn't hurt! They can kill your feet.

@LadyMaddy2000 My coach thought that I was very, very messy. Hahaha. This was my first time to make up my own program and I remember feeling very free doing that.

@teeniemeowmeow They contacted my mom, but my coaches are really nice- they needed a coach that yells and screams and fights with parents. All my coaches are way toooooooo nice.

@LuCkYimuncreative Probably not. I try to be the best person that I can and to be positive in my thoughts and the way that I act. But, no one is perfect. I'm only 10. But, honestly, I never understood why people act mean. It is easier to be nice. Plus, you don't have to worry about bad karma if you try to be nice.

Heck, I'm three years older than you and i will never be able to do half the things you've already done!! And I agree completly that no one is perfect and also the whole if your mean you get bad karma. @DudeOfFood I don't think that I am very good at it. I just plan a couple of spins and a few jumps, then order them based on the music and where they work with whatever choreography I can come up with. I am much better with slower songs, I think.,

@slick56lt it took me ages to get confident and skilled at skating - now i am quickly going through levels and am very close to the first competition level. once you get the hang of basic skating you pick the rest up really quickly and it's so much fun even if you aren't really serious at it! :)

@PrincessonIce01 That is so true. My friend is 14 and she is a wonderful skater, even though she lost her axel. She has fun and does well in her competitions. You don't have to go to the Olympics to be good or to have fun skating. My mom says that in figure skating, there is room for everyone.

@AndreaBungleJunle Well, if you notice, she is standing very straight with her hips even and right over her skating boot. That is one key, are your hips over your skating leg? Also, make certain that during the spin, your body is very still- don't alter your weight distribution even a little bit. These tips are just from a skating mom and are not coaching of any type. Don't want to offend the PSA or USFSA. These are just things that I try to do when I am doing a scratch spin.

@mslua3 It was from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but she didn't know the music prior to taking the ice. It was played 2 times during the 5 minute warmup and the skaters had to make up a program on the fly.
