Ok, on a different note (hehe)...Elliot has some killer legs! In fact between his legs and his lips...I don't know which is sexier. Yes, it had to be said.
Elliot is very tasteful & a classy player. Guitar royalty! And, you're right, he doesn't play 47 different notes to get your attention. He doesn't have to. His studio work is pure perfection. And, when he plays live he will blow your mind. At least he did mine. Love the E.
sorry this is Johnny Rivers playing and singing. I love EE as well, but this has nothing to do with him. I have listened to this song for 45 years. No doubt at all.
@mrzbomb ... Actually the song was written by a well know songwriter...PF Sloan who wrote a lot of other songs. Originally written for the TV show..then made into a full song (because of the requests) and recorded by the amazing Johnny Rivers!!!
Elliott is featured on a new CD compilation called "Poppin" Guitars: A Tuneful of Sherman" on Solid Air Records. It's a collection of acoustic guitarists doing instrumental versions of various songs the Shermans wrote for Disney movies. Elliott does his arrangement of "The Age of Not Believing". The CD is available from Acoustic Music Resource. It's a great CD!
Nice compilation of photograhps, Life long fan of Elliot, been trying to figure out his tricks for 30 years, Always close to my heart appriciate what he has accomplished as a musician and given us as fans.
Instead of showing every chop that he has in a solo, he plays only what needs to be played. It really leaves you wanting more.... Just really tasty stuff, to be sure!
WOW ! HE ALMOST SOUNDS A LITTLE LIKE JOHN HENRY !

EE is my absolute all-time favorite guitarist.

May I ask what the hell does this song have to do with Elliot Easton? I'm not sure of the connection.
