Well here is my opinion I like the mustangs I own one a 98 gt vert and if any one asked me wats faster and a better handling car id say a Corvette period hands down is faster than a mustang now a mustang is more practical has more room probably better sound system more options too maby but in order for a 4.6 to even keep up with a ls1 u gotta do all kinds of stuff to make it out run it and if u plan on out running a vette u gonna need power adder an think about it the vette is straight motor
Finally got myself a cobra, first I painted it matte black, now im looking at the kenne bell. Just wondering which ones (2.6,2.8,2.8LC....) were on this cobra and the black one from the other vids. @brentanlee2011 A Vette has more power stock to stock, retains more of it's value, has more luxury, more advanced tech, a hell of a lot more options, is more comfortable, handles better, brakes better, it's just as fuel efficient if not more so, and is compared in a higher caliber of cars than the Cobra. Maybe you personally like Cobras better to which you're def entitled...however, you have no argument against the Vette being a superior car in EVERY aspect. And I'm a Mustang fanatic...
@darkraven220 How does a Vette have more power stock to stock? Even the Z06 only has 405hp with a 7.0, 427 c.i. motor. Power to displacement ratio the Cobra beats the Z06 drastically. The Cobra's are rated at 390 from the factory with a 4.6L 281 c.i. motor. Corvette's are made to be more luxurious, but as far as comfort, handling and brakes, that is a personal opinion. I'd rather drive my Fox Body than my Jeep Cherokee, I feel more comfortable and I like the way it handles better.
@cougrrr302 Well if you're talking ratios then the Cobras are more powerful than almost every car out there (dollar/hp AND hp/CI). And you can substantially increase a Cobras performance for far less than a Vette. I was talking overall hp tho and the Corvette has more of it. However, from 03-04 the Cobra did make more power than the BASE model Vette I'll give you that. Braking and handling are not opinion. They can be measured. Comfort is personal. The Vette is always a higher value vehicle tho.

@cougrrr302 the C6 Z06's LS7 7.0 has 505hp stock..and will stomp a stock cobra. Now the previous generation C5 Z06 has the 5.7 405hp LS6 and i believe stock for stock against the cobra both cars are about neck & neck performance wise.

@CamdZ06 yeah dude if u have stock headers you need a regular x pipe because the headers are short, if u get long tube headers you need a shorty x pipe, however with a solid rear end you need a 99-04 gt catback because with IRS the pipe go thru the middle and under the suspention, with a solid rear you need a gt catback setup becuase the the catback comes off the midpipe and splits just before the diff and runs over the axle so basically for a setup u need regular size X pipe and 99-04 GT C/B

I ran LM1s with stock h-pipe,magnaflow o/r x with stingers and now I have mac long tubes mac o/r h with magnapacks. Stingers and magnapacks sound about the same but I do like the sound of a h-pipe with those types of mufflers.I have a couple videos up but they not very good.

Mustang has a distinctive sound. I remember the first one I saw was an 88 GT black on black I was a freshman in HS and I was outside waiting for my buss man. Now I own a Corvette but Mustangs will always have my heart.

you know GM's Northstar 4.4L V8 motors are not pushrod right? theyre all DOHC.. yeah driving without coolart for up to 50 miles, smooth operation, longer life, reduced noice and vibration harshness, thats all OHC technology.

I bought my 03 cobra and modded it to hell (whipple, intake, exhaust etc.) and it AND the car cost me 2k less that your pushrod ls9 motor... lol

@edmundnlemadim yeah but the northstar is not really a performance application because its always mounted in a gay FF cadilac with a slushbox 4 speed. They're great engines, but so are the pushrods... they both have their own pro's and con's.

@edmundnlemadim well kinda performance, but still have automatics, and also, the cadillacs are starting to use the LS engines in the new CTS-V, which I think is the only not-gay cadillac. Besides, what's the point of buying a 100,000$ sports car to drive it with an automatic? typical GM nonsense I think.
