I miss the old school Incubus. I still love em, but they use to be so much more energetic. Right now SCIENCE is my fav album. I love the funky beats Kilmore adds.

I love them both, but in terms of overall play, I (as a bass player) have been more heavily influenced by ben than dirk. I love dirk funk and slap style, but ben gets so much more emotion out of his instrument in my opinion
brandon sounds so IN his range here. The record version sounds like hes belting it out to reach the higher notes. Unless they lowered the key (which I doubt) you can really hear how much stronger his voice has gotten,

well everyone loves fungus amongus, but really they were straight out of high school then. and weren't exactly that good. the lead singers voice wasn't so confident as it has progressed to be. it was a really different album with new music cause it came out in the time of nu-rock and limp bizkit. but morning view, S.C.I.E.N.C.E., and make yourself are better in my opinion.
He is a great guitarist no doubt, but he is just that..a guitarist. I agree with fontaine 100%, They are not the same band I loved for so long, I think Ben is partly responsible. I think he fits Incubus' current style better than anyone could, I just don't think he does Dirk's parts justice. I'm sad Alex left, as he was a great bassist, and I'm also sad because I feel that Ben is one of the causes of Incubus' dramatic style change.
