Yes, you can download the SP2 patch from the fsinsider com website. That has the DX10 compatibility patch.

airste172 if you cant even afford a new computer for fsx. you will never have the money to maintain that flying license. You need to fly 2 hours weekly to stay proficient. Thats about three hundred a week. Should have built a sim and cockpit!!

There's nothing in FSX that makes it worth while to spend upwards of $6,000.00 on hardware. They can put arrows in the air for playing games, but can't define class of airspace. They have a glass cockpit that doesn't work like the real one and interaction with ATC is anything but realistic. I have better ways to spend money. ;)

I HAVE a decent computer, a gaming computer that runs FS9 effortlessly. I took the money that it would have cost me for another computer (just to run FSX) and got REAL flight training. Now I'm just about ready for the check-ride and a REAL pilot's license. Should I want to do any simulating, FS9 is still there and working just fine. ;)

FSX is nor a piece of junk! You just need a decent computer and the pacience to sort out the setting for yuor computer. If you don't like FSX, why did you watch a video related to it?

were did you hear that? IT's going to cost money - the DX10 patch will be free though - not the expation pack.

The DX10 Patch will be withing the Acceleration pack and therefore will be free =)

you right the dx10 patch does come with acceleration pack but the acceleration pack will still cost you money - there will be a seperate free download of only the dx10 patch if you do not wish to puy for the expantion pack.
