I get that animals kill and eat each other to survive and although I am not opposed to you feeding your diving beetle the diet it's used to of fish or tadpoles, frogs, etc, feeding it a live helpless drowning hamster pup, to die as it's stabbed without euthanizing it first is pretty cruel and it's cruel because you have better ways of feeding your beetle. I don't understand why whenever people post videos like this everyone freaks out and acts like the owners are animal killers of some sort when the proper way to FEED the fucking diving beetle is to provide it with protein or live feed. Snakes eat fish and rodents, Spiders eat bugs and birds-what's the big deal its the circle of life. Some fish that are big enough even eat live rats, there is nothing cruel about it. Some animals wont even touch food unless it moves, if it doesn't they'll die.
