  • One of my favorite disco songs... I lived it!!

  • Queen of Sheba was an Arabian Queen from Yemen Seba, who ruled East Africa. Her real name is Zenobia

  • Thanks to the brilliant conceptualisation from Jacques Morali and partner, Henri Belolo along with the musical contribution of the inimitable Horace Ott (all from Cant Stop Productions) who also brought us the Village People and Patrick Juvet (I Love America 1978). It is really nice to hear that sound again :) Thank you!

  • i've always loved that song and their voices!

  • Великолепно!!!!!!!! Бесподобно!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The most beautiful disco music forever!! I Love it!!!!!!

  • I love them, the Long version is magnificent

  • They performed it exactly how I imagined when listening to the album. The Ritchie Family will never be forgotten because the music is immortal. I'm 24 and I love African Queens and Arabian Nights albums.

  • Let me put my two cents in being that I worshipped Disco and still love it. I had all of the Ritchie Family Albums up through American Generation in 1979; I didn't purchase anymore after. I didn't like the changed sound and the new Girls; Cassandra, you, Cheryl and Gwendolyn WERE The Ritchie Family to me and I spent a lot of money on you girls purchasing your albums and kept thin by dancing to your music. I love you. Tell Cheryl and Gwendolyn Hi for me. Garry

  • Wow, we have so many things in common Gary!

  • @garrybcoston I HAVE TO AGREE WITH YOU, GARRY. AFTER SEEING THE NEW GIRLS ON "THE BEST OF SOUL TRAIN" ON CW11 I DIDN'T REALLY APPRECIATE THEIR CHANGE OF SOUND. I DEFINITELY PREFER THE REAL RITCHIE FAMILY WHICH ARE CASSANDRA, GWEN AND CHERYL. MAY RHINO RECORDS DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEIR MUSIC BY RE-RELEASING ALL OF THEIR ALBUMS ON CD.

  • Amazing!!! 1st time seeing this. You ladies are the Goddesses of Disco, and your Egyptian costumes is a showstopper!! No other female groups in the disco world can top that. : )

  • Hi Cassandra ,glad to know you are here with us ! How we can forget you and the Ritchie Family ? It's impossible !

Still today I can remember all the nice moments of those times back in the day when these wonderful Disco sounds ruled ..I really miss those good old days ,but good thing today there's Youtube and lots of people like me that ridiscover the famous ,but even the forgotten Gems of the golden Disco era. Your music and your happynes will always live forever ! Kisses

  • OMG You are my IDOL such talent, I danced to you all night back in the 80's. Whenever I hear any of your songs it makes me tear up, the memories, the times I had. If at any time I want to feel GOOD I just put on some of your songs and Im HAPPY again. Arabian Nights was one of your best, may your songs live on into the future as the best music of the Disco Era

  • Thank you MrLatinmuscl,

You make a girl feel good. It was a great time for the Ritchie Family. Never knew so many people still remember us. The music was fabulous and the party scene was hot. Don't party much these days but I haven't forgotten how to. (smile) Love to see your video.

    Cassandra

  • I think it was the perfect combination of music and vocals! Heavenly vocals!

  • You know I still Dance to your music when I go out. I ALWAYS request your songs, If you could see me. I may post a video of me Flagging to your song, you would enjoy how I interpret your music !!

  • @soulsista19150

Cassandra, here is a great fan of yours from Greece. We even had to import your LP Brazil to have the full ocllection. If I remember well you must have been on the Greek television back in 1977. Is that so?

  • @soulsista19150 Hi Cassandra! So nice to meet you here. As a teenager I was a fan and enjoyed your albums...and after 30 years I have to say that I still love them. I never thought that one day I could tell you how I admired your voice and tunes. Now, at 46, you are still a part of my memories and forever part of my musical experience. A big kiss from Barcelona, Spain.

    LONG LIFE TO QUEEN CASSANDRA!!!

  • maravilloso video ojala volvieran a ecena estas mujeres las quiero

  • Most glamorous! I´ve NEVER seen THIS before! Great! Another great example, at least for me, for how the seventies really were! And I´ve thought "Ahh, that´s how the world goes...fabulous!" Boy, was I wrong! So what, I was only 14...But I´ve rediscovered all the beautiful music, recently some long "forgotten" gems, and I am on a major Disco-Music binge these days! It´s all fun! Anyway, thanx for posting!!!

  • These first three ladies are so Glamorous!

I don't understand why they're replaced by another trio.

    This album is so amazing....

  • Amazing voices! This album is so much played on my record player, it has almost got melt!

  • Make no mistake about it ,these girl are the original

Ritchie family in the late 70s these Wonderful ladies

Were replace by some unknown bitches in 78-79 -80

And that was the end of an era. If it aint broke!

  • I remember how disappointed I got when I saw the American generation album cover with different singers!

  • Boy you said it ! Did they not think people
