  • looking good

  • Soderling and Del Potro have big take backs too and they have pretty good forehands if you ask me. Sometimes coaches just need to stop playing God.

  • you are doing a wonderful job of coaching comparing technic of professionals this is the way tennis should be taught so many kids play with awful technique i see this a lot @ tournments they have tremendous talant but unfortunately they havelimited potential with choppy way to hit.this happens all the time in adult recreational tennis as well with faulty grips people try to hit massive backhand with a forhand grip end up hurting their elbow.well done and congratulations.

  • I think he played against a friend from me

  • the forehand is like nalbandian style

  • robbie marshall is from USA? or from Russia???

  • why compare to completely different styles. i would not pay money to go here, what a joke. western grip will have a more open stance while an eastern a more closed

  • vai toma no cu comparar uma criança ruim pra cacete(ainda se achando)com as estrelas do tenis, vai tocar uma punheta envez de perder tempo fazendo esse video seu otario --'

  • umm the kid used a two handed backhand but finished the shot as a 1 hand

  • 2 hand backhand for him, its the way the games goign these days

  • That's how everyone hits a forehand. Not amazing.

  • Good but dont compare to Federer; This kid doesn't even use the same grip, it is obvious kid uses Western grip which is totally opposite of Federer.

  • 1) Kids need a longer backswing to get enough power - no point correcting that at this stage

    2) The hybrid backhand is fine - very few kids of this age are strong enough to hit a single handed b/h - this can be a transition technique (or even stay with it eg. Berasategui)

  • stupid comparison, at least use someone who uses the same grip, very few players use an eastern like federer.

  • Federer, Nadal and Hingis never went to Bollettieri

  • on contact he hits the ball with 2 hands on the backhand.. I just paused the video on contact..

  • why do you compare the kids backhand to Haas,,,Robbie is hitting a double handed backhand and letting the hand off like borg.. better off to keep both hands on and teach him a double handed backhand,,

  • Robbie is back hitting with a full double handed backhand without letting go

  • obviousy you can compare but, he will be a tennis star. i unno remmber program, but i also tried this program @ bollettieri. bollettieri rocks

  • the kids good. but mr federer kicks ass

  • why would u compare a 7 year old kid to roger federer....

  • @turtleboy3456789

"why would you compare a 7 year old kid to roger federer...."

So they can show the kid what he is doing well and what he could do better. Its called coaching.

  • Does anyone who watches these kids realize how many people in the world, at any level, jr-pro can hit the ball perfectly? Does that make you a champion, or potential champion? No. It helps to be able to have perfect technique, but people with perfect technique are a dime a dozen. There are so many other things involved, I would run out of space trying to comment.

  • Whats the program you used to compare the two videos??

  • can't we just appreciate :) lalallaa

  • Denis Shapovalov is good too. I am grateful Robbie has talent & he is training hard to continue to improve his game. He has not been compared to any pros in these videos as you cant compare pros to kids.

  • thanks for your comments yes denis shapovalov is a talented kid. I am greatful Robbie has talent & he is not being compared to federer as it is impossible to compare a junior to a pro, only to use a pro as a guideline to develop some kind of technique.

  • how dare u compare a six year old kid wiht the greatest player ever to play the game. You cannot even put he same league, much rather compare them.

  • I agree with you However show me a tape of Federer aged 6 & we can compare them

  • Didn't they already show clips of Federer playing at a young age? And he was playing a hell of a lot better than this kid. He was hitting so smoothly and effortlessly, like it was as easy as walking. Looked like he was just there to give the opponent someone to play with. And this kid should stick with a two hander. With that form, he might not develop a good one hander. Some people are natural one handers, some are natural two handers. Sampras wasn't a natural one hander, enough said. lol

  • @hossein11111 shut the fuck up you idiot. have you herd yourself. get a grip you muppet!

  • federer is unique, we will never see something like him again

  • What is his date of birth?

  • Bolleteri tennis academy is a joke! they are spoon fed everything and cannot think for themselves during close matches like federer and nadal!
