I just pity the people who just have to trust one of the two completely different and lousy translations into Spanish (in both tone and subtitle versions). For instance, Leland Palmer's "Mairzy Doats" scene was downright smashed to smithereens in the tone version. Shame on the translators...

@PBasser84 I highley doubt it will be realsed on Blu-Ray my friend. Unlike the movies of the 90's which have been realsed on blu-ray, this was shot for tv, they used a whole different camera system which uses a different type of film. Yet this has been substantially been restored to good quality, your better off getting this.

@UglyMcGregor I have no idea if it will be released on blu-ray, but I do know the first season DVD release claimed to be from the high definition transfers, which would seem to indicate it is already on high def. somewhere, and that is the source from which they made the DVDs. One of the commentaries suggested the film print of the pilot episode was gorgeous--doesn't seem it would take much to transfer it to HD.

Yes I totally love the fact that everyone seems fine in scary surroundings. I also love how the charatcters kiss it is sooo passionate. It is almost as if everything tastes great too.LOVE IT!!

Glad to see they finally released the whole show. I loved Twin Peaks when it was on tv, and when they released the first season, I ran out and bought it and was VERY disappointed that it didnt contain the original pilot episode. What a waste of money. I will have to definitely buy this one.
