Disproving Adam and Eve is like disproving Mother Goose. It's an allegorical story that was never meant to be taken literally, probably not even by those who originally told it or those who first wrote it down.

Jesus was of Adam and atonement doesn't make sense without the original sin. What would Jesus be saving one from if not that?
