@09jpick If you have small hands it might be a bit of a stretch, but most experienced guitarists can do it. Please keep in mind that this lesson is only suitable for intermediate and advanced level players.
@GuitarMusicTheoryTab Yes I have small hands, been playing for a long time and consider myself intermediate. Having trouble with that one lick and the rhythym at the beginning of the solo. Your theory and video have been very helpful. Thanks a ton....great picking!
Good job dude. My friend and I have been working on Amie, using a Tascam to record all the parts, but that one solo in the middle of the song is what I needed some help on. Now I get it, thanks to you!
Dude, Great lesson, very precise and straight forward! Thank you so much, One of the best lessons I've seen on here! Got any others flying around? Maybe a web-site?
At one 1/10th the proper speed, I leaped in the air and shouted 'I did it!' at 3am in the morning when I finally played this note for note. A heart felt thank you for sharing the joy of music. Signed, 47 years old and a kid at heart.
flipping amazing... wish my fingers could move around that fast... i cant believe how easy you make it look and i am impressed how you show it note for note. lot easier than tab.. thank you
Desi this was wonderful, I have played this song for years but you have showed me how to get it right , note for note, great job, Thanks a million for sharing this. Can you play the lead parts to "Two Lane Highway" if you can that would be fantastic?
wow i dnt know if this is actually the dude that did this vid but man i cannot think you enough i fell in love with this songs yesterday and have been searching and searching for a tab or vid on this solo FINALLY found it your the shit man
Wow! Really nice job on the intro and lead for this song. I was trying to figure it out and had quite a bit of it but you got all the nuances I was missing. Thanks!
Dont understand what someone would need tabs for, for s#$it sake hes showing you the song note for note. Can anyone really read the stupid things anyways? Great instructional. Skipped all the chatter BS and gets right down to it. Excellent instructor. Thanks
Desi, this is great; never seen anything like a pentatonic scale of studying. I always thought that Amy started on the lower frets, the way it sounds on those bends and light strings on the first few frets. Nice demo you have; the most interesting thing I learned about this song as far as my search can reach. Thanks for sharing your talent
Hey Desi - I really get a lot from your lessons. Thanks so much for those. My daughter advised me to get a Flicker Pro account for $29 a year and post longer videos to there. Seems to work well. YOUTUBE has better exposure of course but Flickr lets you load bigger and longer videos of better quality. Just my $0.02
I am having a devil of a time figuring out 'Blue Bird' by Paul McCartney. If you take requests then that is one.
Wow,
I was hopin to find a good vid on this song to help with workin out the solo, this is stellar!!!
Great lesson, thanks for posting!!!

Thanks for the lessons! Beautiful playing. Wonder if I will be able to bend my 12's to get that distinct sound.

@97teledlx SRV could do it. But the rest of us don't have much of a chance. The guitar in the video probably has 10s on it.
