When you were a baby she spent all her time caring for you. She was patient and loved you while you cried all night and all day. She is your teacher, best friend, your chef, your doctor and a carer. She will always love you, no matter what you do. So be lucky to have a mom, because some people have to live not knowing there mom.
@Nyukazu well you probably have one too. Not everyones mom is like that. Alot moms become resentful or self-centered and yes, they deserve the respect for being the one to birth you, feed you, clothe you, and work for you but some mom's hurt their children.

She didn't love me, she beat me for doing anything wrong. She isn't a teacher... She abandoned me at a shopping mall at midnight... And then years later said it was my fault for it all... So please, I understand that you want people to appreciate their mothers... But try to understand that its not like that for all

It's amazing that I found this while my parents got divorced a year/two years ago. I still listen to it, because it's exactly how I felt during that time and it helps me still.
This song is exactly how I feel, my parents are going through a divorce and it's something I don't wish upon my worst enemy. No child should have to go through this, but sadly 50% of couples divorce and most have kids. This song really shows that we aren't alone.
