Good ole' # 2 Darren Lewis is my favorite Giant when i was a kid i remember how upset i was when they traded him for Deion Sanders, his on base percent wasnt that great but he had a cannon for an arm.

Grew up in SF Bay Area in 50's & 60's. That song brings back a lot of great memories! It didn't get any better than the Giants and KSFO

The Giants have been my team since 1963, I have had Cerebral Palsy since my birth in 1954! In 1969, Ibecame very ill and needed four stomach surgeries! As I was waking up from surgery I heard Willie Mays with a get well message for me! Then as I arrived home from UCSF Medical Center, Lon Simmons called my home! I got breathless from excitement and summer heat, but managed to learn alot of insider news that showed me why sticking with the team was the right thing to do!

Another A's fan thank ful for this. I was born in Berkeley, grew up in Concord, so naturally became a "split-cap" fan when the A's arrived. Then, in the 80s I came to realize just how much the West Bay and North Bay G's fans resented the A's and their success. Appalled, I became a A's fanatic and G's hater, but remembered this song from my childhood and am glad to hear it again.
