There are many hints to avoid Ipod fakes. I'll give two hints.

1- A series of Ipods that are selling a single area of a street shop, an auction, or a flea market are usually fakes. If you see the seller take a picture in case (Only if they sell it at a very Expensive price). Then send to police if fakes.

2- They don't sell cheep.

you should have got a disk with it um it should be a video converter and if you hsve the same one as this if the disk dosnt work go on the internet and type in ummmm amv video converter or something

i cna tell by looking at it before it played... one on the left.. black skip controls and the centre button looks weird and raised.. then again i own the real ipod 3rd gen 4 gig.. but i kinda got a good eye for things like that.. with that said the fake touches are actually pretty ok!

Menu's slow. Wheel is a click. For paying for the same price calling it an I-Pod its not worth more than £15. The operating system is bad, not really intuitive.
