Some of the sounds are pre-built. You just have to look for the plugins that have them. For example, the sliding melody is used with the 3x Oscillator, with sliding notes.

i was never a fan of trance or techno when younger, but now i like it, i mix it with hip hop now too. hip hop is the type of music i usually listen too. trance synths and brasses with hip hop are bad ass, its so trippy this music is for trippers, stoners etc and ppl who just plain enjoy it. it dont suck.

thats the hard way :p you can use peak controller or automation clips, if anyone here wants to learn it just seach on youtube you'll find tons of usefull stuff :) but edit events can be used but its not as good as automation for fadeins and such, its good for spike effects but not overall if you ask me!

trouble is after you've played ejay and fl an others like it you can spot a tune made on them a mile away and its because of that that no one will get famous from making music on these programs. no matter how different your songs are or how long you spend doing it they just sound simple for some reason. get yourself a microKORG and start making music :D

The screenrecorder I use is called 'ZD Soft Screenrecorder'. ZD Soft records both screen and audio live. If you want you could record only the sound from the computer with ZD Soft Screenrecorder.
No, not really. It seems complicated at first, but when you get the hang of it it's really user-friendly. It took me a few months to learn how things work, and what they do.
Id you're planning on getting FL, I recommend that you watch alot of tutorials, and that you experiment alot -just playing around with functions.

The one on 0:13 is called 'Nasty'
0:34 is a custom made instrument, it's actually based on 'Nasty'.
This is my very first techno/trance song, so the instruments are very basic, I recommend VSTi plugins for best/highest quality.

wat program did u use to record this? and did u record the sound from your speakers? xD im trying to find out wat people are using to record only the sound from the computer :)

Hey!
The screenrecorder I use is called 'ZD Soft Screenrecorder'. ZD Soft records both screen and audio live. If you want you could record only the sound from the computer with ZD Soft Screenrecorder.

No, not really. It seems complicated at first, but when you get the hang of it it's really user-friendly. It took me a few months to learn how things work, and what they do.
Id you're planning on getting FL, I recommend that you watch alot of tutorials, and that you experiment alot -just playing around with functions.

It depends. Watch alot of tutorials, it helps alot. Fruity Loops is really easy when you get the hang of it. Experiment alot, and fool around ;P

The kick/snare/hi-hat are the standard ones(they automatically show when you start up a new project)
This is my very first techno/trance song, so the instruments are very basic, I recommend VSTi plugins for best/highest quality.
If you want great sounding kick/snare and hi-hat, search on google for free hard trance soundpacks, or make a purchase (best option).

This is my very first techno/trance song attempt. It's nothing serious nor proffesional.
If you'd ask me for my personal opinion, I'd say that this song sucks, there's alot of things that needs to be improved. Unfortunately I don't have the .flp file, it got erased when I had a virus.
The song was produced when I was a newbie, that is about 10 months ago. I think I have improved a bit sínce that ;P Check out my latest work " NEW Techno/Trance Song Made Using Fruity Loops Studio".
