Doesn't that kill your back and digestion, hunching over like that while you eat? I'm lanky and have terrible posture so I do it when I sit at the table myself lol.
Fuck yeah. This is what I'm talking about. Going back to our roots. We might be in a computer age, but THIS is health benefits. Your hands touching the food releases a chemical letting your body know fresh GOOD food is on it's way. I've been studying in biology for over 4 years. I am seriously proud of this man LOL
@Firewerwolve Thanks :) I am really happy that you agree :) Eating with your hands is very very important. I saw Arabic writing on your page. It says your from Saudi Arabia. Is that true? I have family in Jordan myself.
@s7934777 Yes it's true. I was born there, and we eat with our hands aswell. :D And of course I agree and I hope you and your family are fine! Don't stop eating like this. you're doing good..And when the sun comes up. I'm going to go to the store and get free-ranged salmon and eat it raw. nom nom
@s7934777 Gah.. You lucky man LOL.. I want wild grapes and beef fed grass. It's very expensive to find such things here. Bleh.. I bet you know. Where'd you get it from? Also, get some raw nuts man! Add some raw nuts! a handfull. that will help aid your digesting! And help poop :p
@Firewerwolve Yeah, I get it here in Wisconsin, local beef. Fer Li Grass Fed Beef from the market. Yeah raw nuts do aid in digestion, when you eat them at the end of the meal. It's not good to eat them before a meal though. Or before fruit. Always eat raw nuts alone, a handful at the end of the meal, is very good for digestion like you said. I poop everyday when I do this, solid poop too.
I believe in raw foods even though I do still cook. Oysters, Salmon, Chicken Liver etc. but I have to say you don't imo make it look appealing. We may have eaten this way once upon, but seriously on the carpet with your hands? We live in the computer age. I don't mean to sound mean, honestly but there are benefits to modern life, and perhaps straining the sand that may be in the oysters. I think sometimes we take this devotion/obsession too far. Still, best to ya. Xeta
@xetaprime Once upon a time? My family and people in Jordan still eat on the floor like this, til this very day. Sitting on the floor too is better for your back and spine. Like we do in Jordan.
@s7934777 When I said 'once upon' maybe incorrectly i guess it seemed to me you were being as paleo as it gets. 1:00 into the video you mention bones- then you flick it off onto the carpet? I understand eating on the floor. I get that. Not sure plates on carpet is a good idea though. And honestly I can see how sitting on the floor might be good for one's back- but you're pretty much on your knees leaning in what I see awkward as position. But tradition is tradition. Best to you, Xeta
@s7934777 P.S. I admit to being naive regarding Jordan culture. Been looking into it and for that, I thank you for commenting. I will guess though that most? don't tear into the fish in such a way. Maybe families do do that. Many food traveling pictures I've just seen were, different.
@hadimajzoub No I usually eat grass fed beef, lamb, bison, goat, sheep, (I eat mainly some type of red meat) etc. I eat oysters and fish on rare occasion. I also eat fruit and vegetables and nuts too.
@khurramw1isstillhere The Paleo lifestyle is the most anabolic promoting way of living. In caveman days there were no vegetarians because they were too weak to fight the paleo hunters. By eliminating complex carbs your body switches to fat burning mode vs. carb. Your core temperature is more elevated and the thermogenic effect burns off fat. The animal fat and cholesterol is a major testosterone booster. Paleo eaters can afford to eat egg yolks without worry because they burn it as fuel!
@defqqq Omnivorous for sure Humans are, some people more on the carnivore end, I had a friend that used to just love Raw chicken hearts/gizzards & other raw meat, just natural for him and it wasn't because of his nutritional education, just instinctive. I'm quite the opposite as far as taste but I've eaten raw meat on occasion because I appreciate the nutritional aspect.
@Myflesh101 from my understanding of comparing the anatomy and physiology of carnivores, omnivores and humans, humans are much closer to herbivores and all that differs us from them, makes us frugivores.
@defqqq Maybe we are built like other Frugivores in Nature, how are You doing on the Fruit diet? Some people like Harley(Durianrider) seem to thrive although he seems highly dogmatic but physically seems to be doing well, for now. Perhaps if our fruit was all grown wild on mineral rich soil more people would thrive on it. Just seems to me many people on all fruit look skeletal and are pretty spaced out, not settled.
@defqqq So hypothetically we may look like Frugivores but when it comes down to it what do we thrive on? Some people from a very young age seem to crave raw meat. I honor these cravings, it’s not the same as craving a snickers bar, it’s a true “physiological craving” and I feel listening to cravings like these is important to real health. Others do not crave meat and for them maybe they are more of a veggie eater by nature.
@defqqq So as far as I can tell different peeps do well or not do well on different foods/nutrients so on a practical level and as a WHOLE, we are Omnivorous. I sure would love it if You could prove that wrong though and show that we all should just eat fruit that would be so much more compassionate and graceful than killing animals or the other ways we obtain food. I really do wanna know how Your doing on all fruit or have You tried/what were the effects? Chillin out with them Orangutan's!;)
@defqqq Was also mentioning that animals that eat mostly meat in the wild tend to eat fast because Meat can be broken down well in big chunks, unlike veggie foods that are much more effectively digested by breaking down into small particles(because of the cellulose/fiber). Because meat with its protein cell wall is far more easy to break down enzymatically compared to veggies. Thus the much longer transit time in herbivores and shorter transit in Carnivores. Humans being in between the two.
Humans used to sit in the floor long before chairs. In some cultures some still do. I have family in Jordan, they all sit on the floor and eat on the floor.
Chairs give many people back problems (we are not meant for chairs).
Caveman shirtless? I wear shirts when its cold, and go shirtless when I am not cold. Simple as that.
scumbag raw paleo - buys salmon, doesn't have any money left for a table and chair
