She is a totally awesome Canadian country pop singer. It does sound similar to ABBA, but what musician doesn't borrow from others these days. I think it's great, she's totally talented and I've always been a big fan of hers. :)

I know she had a close call w/ that song, luckily she was able to still do it. Most of Shania's lyrics in her songs are very much her own. As far as melody goes I don't think she deliberately wrote it to get a melody like Dancing Queen. I think songs come along that just happen to compliment songs in the past but it wasn't intentional.
