The nature of all dreams is that they all end. The British Empire was too big to fail, so was the Roman Empire. Dreams must end so new ones can begin, that is the nature of the world we live in. Old religions end and new ones are created, nations rise and fall, and we call it history. People will go on, until there are no more people. Only a fool would want it any other way.
@zaibian7 George Bernard Shaw had a great philosophy that follows you statement.
"Reasonable people adapt themselves to the world. Unreasonable people attempt to adapt the world to themselves. All progress, therefore, depends on unreasonable people." -George Bernard Shaw
But everyone has to learn to face themselves and find out how they can improve as a human being. What are your flaws? Who can help you change? Read the constitution of the United States, Understand it. Understand where the wisdom comes from. Where ther ideas come from. Everyone has those ideas are born with them. It is inside the human being in all countries.
We need an army of people like I just exaplained. You a constitution you have to put it to work. You have to have faith in it. And once you have a large majority of people that believe in that constitution and has confidence and faith in it that is how you reverse the direction our country is going in. David beat Goliath because he new he would. And no matter what the outcome he was going to fight him. He had no fear.
Everyone's number 1 fear is facing their own human character flaw. Once you do that face yourself. Realise what is wrong with you. Then know that you need to get over those flaws. No one is perfect but the more perfect you arethat more confident you are. The less you worry about others or rely on government. You elect people that are likeminded. You lose fear, it is replaced by faith. So you need an army of people like this.
How do the wrong people get into power? When you think of someone you want to vote for what usually is a simple reason why you vote for a certain individual?
@Truth77Absolute Marketing. It is about throwing out the line with the best lure. It is about us biting and swallowing that lure. Obama is a master marketer. Brilliant in that respect. Non-brilliant as president but that's our fault. We see the candy, the car, the beer on TV, we have to have it. Obama ran nothing but commercials and made us thirsty for more. That's how the wrong people get elected. marketing. And marketing is also expensive, so we pony up the cash so we can buy more.
@NavyMedicUSMC , So, in this case, all people have something or things that they think of as very important in their lives. So you will vote for the candidate that offers you what is important to you. You vote for the person that makes you feel good about yourself. Someone who gives you hope that tommorow will be a better day. You vote for someone you think will give you confidence inseatd of having the confidence to vote for someone that will preserve the constitution that preseves it.
@Truth77Absolute I agree. Freedom is the cornerstone of the American Dream and without the particular freedoms that we enjoy which are unique in the world, some of them, we would be just another country. Our greatness is based on freedom, not a booming economy.
We elect the wrong people to govern us and they put our militalr in harms way by sending them to wars for the wrong reasons. Abuse of power. Greed. If we had confidence in ourselves we would be confident enough to elect the right people and have confidence in them that they would never send our soldiers to war for the wrpng reasons. Then our soldiers are confident enough that they are doing the right thing, defending our nation. And knowing they will be taken care of.
@Truth77Absolute Electing Obama wasn't a confidence issue. It was a race issue. Obama doesn't inspire confidence in anyone. He signaled the beginning of post-racism America and stupid middle-class, college educated white women (specifically) elected him with 78% of that demographic's vote. Black people voted for him with 99.987% of their demographic. It was all about race. Historic election. First (half) black president. Now, whites are no longer racists. We (they) voted black. Period.
@Truth77Absolute Governments are constantly sending soldiers to war for the wrong reason. Iraq? There was no good reason. Not in a ,million years should we have invaded Iraq. We did though. So W. could finish the work that daddy started, and for the oil. But our troops did enjoy the popular support of the people (as it should be), who learned from the debacle of the Vietnam protests. The soldiers are doing the right thing but it isn't because the government has shown any wisdom.
Would a confident American people not be confident enough to elect the right people to reflect their confidence and not worry about what happens. Because no matter what happens on the outside we have our individual confidence to overcome anything. Even whe out of work we can see oppurtunities. That is what the "American Dream" is. That we have freedoms here that cannot be taken from us. So therefore no one can take away our confidence. WE give it away because we CHOOSE to.
Why have the American people lost confidence in government? And if you lose confidence in government, why do we keep going back to the mto ask them for something? Could it be that we have lost confidence in ourselves? So we need to look to someone on the outside to give it to us? Then they disappoint us and take bakc our confidence. So how do we get our confidence back? What is taking away our " breathing room"?
@Truth77Absolute Looking to someone on the outside has never worked in any situation that matters, but I am just curious who that would be. But confidence has nothing to do with greed. Elections have something to do with confidence but confidence does not have anything to do with fixing the economy, only in living in it. But what's the alternative? Move to China? India? Pakistan? Indonesia? Mars? Unemployment has taken our breathing room. That was done by private enterprise, not gov't.
Taxation without representation is the situation that will crumble a nation. The American dream ,has evaporated like a cloud of steam. Where will go what will we do? The 2nd amendment will be the most important to me and to you! Crooks and thieves in high posts I must note, no more reason to go out and vote."jeopardy of the American dream" great job mike!
@TheCoroncachannel OK, well, somewhere out there Eminem is GREEN with envy! LOL Glad to hear from you. Just wanted to put my two cents worth in that no matter how bad anyone may perceive things to be, there is nothing that is not fixable. Take it easy bro.
probably because all you do is go to school on the GI or VA bill and dont have single clue or a concept of a real american with a real basic job - still living with mommy?
@ravenbones1 Dude, do you not remember me? The discussions we have had regarding "Medic" vs "Corpsman"? Do you not remember the dozens of interactions we have had here on YouTube? Are you going through Alzheimer's or what? What's the deal, man?
@NavyMedicUSMC you are absolutely, positively THE ONLY person in the WORLD that would call themselves a Navy Medic - the ONLY ONE - I have been to both state and national conventions for Medics, Corpsmen, Medical Professionals, American Legion, VFW, and DAV and you are STILL the only person to lay claim to that title - so yeah, I think you are ODD MAN OUT
@ravenbones1 Well, you don't get out much, at least around Navy Corpsmen, that's all I can say. It's not exactly like we're fapping to your wife's pictures so where does all the animosity come from man? We've had this discussion multiple times, you and I, and laughed about it. You might need to seek counseling or something. I don't know where all this is coming from on your end and I do not appreciate it. As of now you are blocked.
@meb659 Yeah, Mitch, I had to. This guy was one of my first ever subscribers too. Kind of a shame. But I will not put up with this abusive shit. He knows why I use the word "Medic" (for example most of the public has no idea what a "Corpsman" is and it's easier just to say "Medic"), which is not a word which is reserved for the Army. In the past few responses on my videos he has spiraled down to a deep dark place, like a completely different person than he was before. What an asshole.
@NavyMedicUSMC , What do you think is the root reason that it appears that the "American Dream" as we know it is disappearing"? What will it take for us to stop the system that is trying to bring down the "noble" American system?
@Truth77Absolute I think it all boils down to one word: greed. Corporate greed, oil company greed, banking greed, big pharma greed, greed of medical practitioners and hospitals, union greed, personal greed, etc. I think what can be done is the president needs to develop a solid jobs package without special interests involved, and Congress needs to fix the deficit. I guess they're on the trail but It's a long ways off I'm afraid.
@NavyMedicUSMC , Well, that does makes sense. But do you think that giving people jobs is going to stop our country from travelling down the road it is going? Is it possible that giving people jobs and cutting the employment rate would just pacify most of the American public and take away their attention to what maybe the "root" problem is? Would we not be spending more money even though we will make money with a new jobs bill, so therefore you dont cut the deficit?
@Truth77Absolute I disagree that giving people jobs would take their attention off the root problem. What it would do is restore some measure of the American Dream to those who have lost it so mightily. It would stimulate growth across the board. It would give us all a little breathing room. The real fix in this case is Congressional. Fix the budget. Fix the deficit. Fix the pandering and bickering, fix the special interest and lobbyist involvement. The real fix is going to be difficult.
@NavyMedicUSMC , I agree with everything you said. It could stop the bleeding. But America has had "gashes" similar to this one maybe not as bad, multiple times in the past. So, I think when it comes to the economy and unemployment issues it always improves or gets bad. It is like a cycle. But, in my opinion from even from reading your statements, it seems like the real issue is the "confidence" of the American people. Some how or some way we have lost our confidence.
@Truth77Absolute America has never been $15 Trillion in debt ever before in our history. There are no simple solutions. But there are things that could be done to make things better. I will argue until doomsday that creating jobs, NOT giving people money, is a good idea and something that will help ease the effects of corporate and governmental greed. Are we going to get rid of greed? Never. So what is left to your mind? Just give up? Not try to do something positive?
@NavyMedicUSMC , First of all we have to think for a second.... What does confidence mean to you? What gives you confidence? I know you mentioned it in the pther comments but I will ask you again? What is confidence?
I think the solution lies within all individuals. All need to look to themselves and see what is wrong with them.I know what is wrong with me. So when I get over my issue I will have complete confidence. A confidence that lasts forever. It cant be taken away. Cant be manipulated.
@Truth77Absolute Agreed. But that's all rhetoric and does nothing to fix the situation. Confidence gets us out to the stores and causes us to buy things but confidence does not take the place of effective, efficient leadership, which we do not currently have. A recent poll showed 8% confidence in Congress. That isn't a mandate. It's not confidence. That's random error bouncing around the bottom of the sampling pool. Who knows, the margin of error may be 8%! The true number may be zero.
@NavyMedicUSMC , Some how or some way we as a whole have lost our confidence. Now, you say that if an individual gets a job this would somehow give them breathing room. I agree, but I think that puts our confidence and faith back into a government that took it away from us in the first place. You see that. The same government that has contributed to the demise of our economy whether they are republican or democrats. So you give the abuser back the power to take away your confidence again.
@Truth77Absolute No, you have it wrong. It would not put confidence and faith in the government, with the exception of the truly stupid. No, it puts faith and confidence back in ourselves, our ability to provide for our families and to thrive in the worst economic environment in 70 years. It puts faith and confidence back in the economy, not the government. But on the other hand what would you suggest? Armed revolution? Bleed the people dry? Communism?
@NavyMedicUSMC , No. We do not need an amred revolution because the constitution is still at work. With all the problems we have we are still a noble country. We are just squandering it. Communism would be the direction our nation is going to. When people lose theor confidence in themselves they put it in other people in order for them to take away their freedoms completely. That is the whole point of communism. False salvation.
@Truth77Absolute I remember a live concert by Bruce Springsteen in 1985. He said, in part: "In 1985, blind faith in your leaders, or in anything, will get you killed!" I think that applies to 2011. We aren't heading into Communism. It would be a violation of all kinds of laws. But if we keep electing buffoons like the guy in the White House we will be living in a true quasi-socialist society in no time, The USA is currently a center right country. We need to keep it that way.
@NavyMedicUSMC , So therefore, your confidence is in government when it really should be inside the individual. Self sufficiency. I believe Americans have lost this because they have learned to rely on others, government beofre themselves. So we have lost our confidence in ourselves so we always elect the wrong people. Always blame others for our problems.
@Truth77Absolute That's what I said above. The confidence doesn't go to the government, it goes to the people and the economy we generate. And you're right, we are constantly blaming others for our problems. Absotively right.
@NavyMedicUSMC , How do you know that when America is back working again and we have "breathing room", that the corruption in governement, wall st, whomever is in charge of our country as a whole, will not continue to make things worse, while we are distracted with work and making money? Have you really recieved the "American Dream" by getting a job or have you been "put to sleep" and made not aware of what the real problem is because you got what you demanded from goverment?
@Truth77Absolute I'll tell you what. I'll be distracted and make money, pay my mortgage, bring food in the house, pay the cable and light bills, pay the insurance and car payment. I'll continue to make money and live in the economy. You can keep your eye on the greedy if you wish. There comes a point where we just have to try all we can do. I have never lain down for anyone and I am not going to stop now. There is no one big easy answer. There are a bunch of difficult small answers.
@NavyMedicUSMC , I agree. I am actually in a similar situation that you have just spoken about. But I just wanted to know what your opinion was on what the root problem is. It is difficult to pin point the begining because all problems have been cluttered together. That is the problem. We cant see through the mixed up problems so therefore we never come to the right solution. We only have solutions that stops the bleeding for a short amount of time. But its still bleeding
@Truth77Absolute And you know one of the main problems is the media. They in their left-of-Lenin yellow journalistic way, have cluttered all of our problems together and point at the Republicans. The right-facing media does the same, pointing left. Nobody points straight into the mirror and sees who needs to change the system. 1.3 billion Chinese are run by 3,600,000 hardcore Communists. Why? Because they won't rise as one and change things. Maybe Occupy is doing that here. I don't know.
@NavyMedicUSMC , So why then do we have a corrupt media? Why do we have a corrupt republican and democrat run government? What do those people in China need to rise against corruption? The confidence of 1.3 billion Chinese should out number 3,000,000. So why not? What happened? What does that small majority have that they dont? Do you ever remember a time in your life where you lost you confidence?
@Truth77Absolute Fear. Fear keeps the Chinese sheeple in their homes and not opposing the system. Fear, produced, directed and starring the media, is why we have a corrupt media. We have given them absolute power, total domain over our information and opinions. We do this because we are scared of looking on our own, afraid of what we might find. Our precious institutions may not then be so precious. I lost my confidence on election day, 2008. I will get it back when Obama leaves.
@NavyMedicUSMC , That is true. If someone has fear they lose their confidence. But what can an adult fear that would allow them to elect the wrong person. Why would someone fear speaking the truth? I think life is about living and speaking the truth. I think true purpose of life is to die doing this. Maybe people fear losing their life? Maybe they fear losing people, freinds, family? Maybe they fear losing their job?
@NavyMedicUSMC , You said yourself that you thinkg "greed" is the root problem. But how would creating jobs stop greed? I agree we are a long way from the original state of what America is suppose to represent. How do we stop greed?
@Truth77Absolute Creating jobs would not stop greed. It would create a sense of well-being that would induce people to spend money and stimulate the economy from within the economy. That would benefit private enterprise and large corporations alike, which can then generate more jobs. The way to solve the problem is long and difficult, but the way to breathing a little easier is jobs. Without jobs, Congress can fix greed all they want (IF they want) and everyone will still be unemployed.
@NavyMedicUSMC , I agree that putting America to work would cause people to spend money. But how does that stop greed? Greedy people hunger for money. So would that not be feeding their bad habits? Whether they are main st people like me and you or wall st people, if we already have the problem of "greed", would getting money fix that problem or make it worse?
@NavyMedicUSMC , I am going by your own words. You said that the root problem is greed. Then you said that giving money to people would make them feel more confortable whild the problem of greed is resolved. That is like saying that, for example, we have a problem with cocaine addiction in america. So while they fix the problem we need to give the people more drugs to mske them have "breathing room". You see what I am saying? SO WHAT IS REALLY THE ROOT OF AMERICAN PROBLEM?
@ravenbones1 What a little bitch you are! Jeez dude I'm unsubscribing from your channel. Grow some fucking balls, man! Mike is the coolest cucumber in the garden. Maybe you need to put the pipe down, you fucking tweaker. Eventually everything comes out in the wash, though. Better now than later. Dickhead.

I agree, but I think that puts our confidence and faith back into a government that took it away from us in the first place. You see that. The same government that has contributed to the demise of our economy whether they are republican or democrats. So you give the abuser back the power to take away your confidence again.
Truth77Absolute 3 months ago
@Truth77Absolute No, you have it wrong. It would not put confidence and faith in the government, with the exception of the truly stupid. No, it puts faith and confidence back in ourselves, our ability to provide for our families and to thrive in the worst economic environment in 70 years. It puts faith and confidence back in the economy, not the government. But on the other hand what would you suggest? Armed revolution? Bleed the people dry? Communism?
NavyMedicUSMC 3 months ago

NavyMedicUSMC 3 months ago
@NavyMedicUSMC , So therefore, your confidence is in government when it really should be inside the individual. Self sufficiency. I believe Americans have lost this because they have learned to rely on others, government beofre themselves. So we have lost our confidence in ourselves so we always elect the wrong people. Always blame others for our problems.
Truth77Absolute 3 months ago

Truth77Absolute 3 months ago
@Truth77Absolute I'll tell you what. I'll be distracted and make money, pay my mortgage, bring food in the house, pay the cable and light bills, pay the insurance and car payment. I'll continue to make money and live in the economy. You can keep your eye on the greedy if you wish. There comes a point where we just have to try all we can do. I have never lain down for anyone and I am not going to stop now. There is no one big easy answer. There are a bunch of difficult small answers.
NavyMedicUSMC 3 months ago
@NavyMedicUSMC , I agree. I am actually in a similar situation that you have just spoken about. But I just wanted to know what your opinion was on what the root problem is. It is difficult to pin point the begining because all problems have been cluttered together. That is the problem. We cant see through the mixed up problems so therefore we never come to the right solution. We only have solutions that stops the bleeding for a short amount of time. But its still bleeding
Truth77Absolute 3 months ago
@Truth77Absolute And you know one of the main problems is the media. They in their left-of-Lenin yellow journalistic way, have cluttered all of our problems together and point at the Republicans. The right-facing media does the same, pointing left. Nobody points straight into the mirror and sees who needs to change the system. 1.3 billion Chinese are run by 3,600,000 hardcore Communists. Why? Because they won't rise as one and change things. Maybe Occupy is doing that here. I don't know.
NavyMedicUSMC 3 months ago
@NavyMedicUSMC , So why then do we have a corrupt media? Why do we have a corrupt republican and democrat run government? What do those people in China need to rise against corruption? The confidence of 1.3 billion Chinese should out number 3,000,000. So why not? What happened? What does that small majority have that they dont? Do you ever remember a time in your life where you lost you confidence?
Truth77Absolute 3 months ago
@Truth77Absolute Fear. Fear keeps the Chinese sheeple in their homes and not opposing the system. Fear, produced, directed and starring the media, is why we have a corrupt media. We have given them absolute power, total domain over our information and opinions. We do this because we are scared of looking on our own, afraid of what we might find. Our precious institutions may not then be so precious. I lost my confidence on election day, 2008. I will get it back when Obama leaves.
NavyMedicUSMC 3 months ago
@NavyMedicUSMC Absolute power corrupts absolutely. This is why the media is as it is. It's our own fault.
NavyMedicUSMC 3 months ago
@NavyMedicUSMC , So why did Obama being elected make you lose your confidence in yourself?
Truth77Absolute 3 months ago
@Truth77Absolute , Is it possible to have a confidence that can never leav you. No one can break.
Truth77Absolute 3 months ago
@NavyMedicUSMC , That is true. If someone has fear they lose their confidence. But what can an adult fear that would allow them to elect the wrong person. Why would someone fear speaking the truth? I think life is about living and speaking the truth. I think true purpose of life is to die doing this. Maybe people fear losing their life? Maybe they fear losing people, freinds, family? Maybe they fear losing their job?
Truth77Absolute 3 months ago
@NavyMedicUSMC , You said yourself that you thinkg "greed" is the root problem. But how would creating jobs stop greed? I agree we are a long way from the original state of what America is suppose to represent. How do we stop greed?
Truth77Absolute 3 months ago
@Truth77Absolute Creating jobs would not stop greed. It would create a sense of well-being that would induce people to spend money and stimulate the economy from within the economy. That would benefit private enterprise and large corporations alike, which can then generate more jobs. The way to solve the problem is long and difficult, but the way to breathing a little easier is jobs. Without jobs, Congress can fix greed all they want (IF they want) and everyone will still be unemployed.
NavyMedicUSMC 3 months ago
@NavyMedicUSMC , I agree that putting America to work would cause people to spend money. But how does that stop greed? Greedy people hunger for money. So would that not be feeding their bad habits? Whether they are main st people like me and you or wall st people, if we already have the problem of "greed", would getting money fix that problem or make it worse?
Truth77Absolute 3 months ago
@NavyMedicUSMC , I am going by your own words. You said that the root problem is greed. Then you said that giving money to people would make them feel more confortable whild the problem of greed is resolved. That is like saying that, for example, we have a problem with cocaine addiction in america. So while they fix the problem we need to give the people more drugs to mske them have "breathing room". You see what I am saying? SO WHAT IS REALLY THE ROOT OF AMERICAN PROBLEM?
