I definitely don't feel it's our right to restrict anyone from practicing freedom of religion nor is it anyones right. Perhaps I don't agree with everyones ideals but it is not my job to force my belief on anyone. Also as a Christian I can say that it is true the bible does not change but the bible can definitely improve your life and promote love towards everyone if you actually pay attention to Christs teachings.
Thanks to that woman for taking a stand against blatant, backwards pseudo-medieval logic and making our rights as pagans known... while doing all the necessary paperwork :-)
banning divination is like banning a part of somones religion. That's messing with somone's constitutional rights. What happens if you tell then that they have to ban Jesus?
Check with the public-schools which teach that mental-crutch called evolution. The wicked men love darkness for their deeds are evil, guess what kind of people would sneak something through, without notifying the public. The Holy Bible does tell about what kind of person loves, that darkness, they are wicked.
It's funny but in America we have freedom of religion and a inherent freedom of thought. Not everyone accepts the bible as the law of God, in fact, there are many similiar claims by other religious texts such as the Koran and the Book of Mormons. So while Christians accept the bible, many do not. As for evolution, it explains in scientific terms what is happening on earth and possibly other places. Unlike the bible it is a changing and growing scientific philosphy that improves our lives.
True freedom of religion means freedom for ALL religions. Personally I have none but that's my choice/ logic.
