You could switch the roles of Jesus and Lucifer in the lyrics for any other two symbols of similar nature and stature (though the lyrics might not flow quite as well that way) and it would remain just as relevant. The song doent seem to be trying to change anyones mind if they follow Christ. It is just telling a story of someones life that some can relate to. Its not telling us to worship satan. I can relate to the song about being hated rejected and picked on by my peers but I chose to have faith in and follow Jesus Christ instead. He feels real to me. I want to strengthen my relationship wit him.

Actually the name "Lucifer" is a Latin version of Eosphoros, who in Greek mythology was also Hesperus, The Morning *and* The Evening Star, and was not named as an embodiment of Satan in the Bible. The only reference to a being called Lucifer in the bible referred to a King, who was so compared to Lu for his excessive pride. The idea of Lucifer as an embodiment of Illumination is Greek, because he is the first star to appear in the evening and the last to defy the morning. Sorry, there, kiddos.

The song doent seem to be trying to change anyones mind if they follow Christ. It is just telling a story of someones life that some can relate to. Its not telling us to worship satan. I can relate to the song about being hated rejected and picked on by my peers but I chose to have faith in and follow Jesus Christ instead. He feels real to me. I want to strengthen my relationship wit him.

Im a christian, not that anyone asked, but I think its relevant for what I want to say. I'm not gonna hate on the song or blutengel, but im a goth and not evrybody who is goth is into worshiping satan. Some goths worship nothing and some are other religions, buddist wicca or whatever. I dont like judging others and what they believe. Its not gonna hurt me so y should I care. As long as no one is trying to minipulate me and make me turn from my faith in their songs.

Actually the name "Lucifer" is a Latin version of Eosphoros, who in Greek mythology was also Hesperus, The Morning *and* The Evening Star, and was not named as an embodiment of Satan in the Bible. The only reference to a being called Lucifer in the bible referred to a King, who was so compared to Lu for his excessive pride. The idea of Lucifer as an embodiment of Illumination is Greek, because he is the first star to appear in the evening and the last to defy the morning. Sorry, there, kiddos.

Maybe there was a HUMAN, Jesus, who tried to teach some things to the enslaved people of his region such as love and equality. Nein das glaub ich nicht,es spiegelt nur deine eigenen verbitterten Ansichten wider.Das lässt mich auch zu dem schluss kommen,das du von Musik keine Ahnung hast und als Hardcorefan dieser Formation,(um nicht zu sagen Croupie) sind dir die verschiedenen Stilistischen Einflüsse schlichtweg entgangen.Tumor z.B.geht ja in Richtung Industrial und ebend dieser raue und mitunter sehr harte Stil,hat meiner Meinung nach nichts in einem Dark Wave Projekt zu suchen,(weiter in Anhang)

So, even after some research, I still cant find any of these fine qualities you guys attribute to this character, putting aside wether or not we're talking about fiction.
