But they never told Jenny anything. Im thinking on one of Jennys rushes she happened to go down the stair way lost balance and so the impact was so hard that it caused her death (They never said what caused the death).

Two other things: I think Isobel is Elena's mum, but Alaric is not her dad. Isobel was 16 when she had Elena, and she abandoned her. If Alaric were her dad and Isobel and him worked out their drama, they would have come back for her. Thirdly, I think things are going to play out like this: Elena will find out Damon killed her mum right when they're closest. Major drama scenes. Then we find out Isobel is not dead but undead...I mean look at her eyes, it would be such a shame not to use her.

I think they have their facts wrong. Alaric, although I thought so too at first, is not a vampire - remember when he could not find his ring in the car, in the scene with Jeremy, during daylight time? Plus he would not have needed a custom weapon to try ad kill Stephen, nor would he take a job as a teacher to find info on his wife's killer, he could have lurked around like Anna.

Stop comparing the books to the show and you won't be confused. They R taking elements of the books and weaving them into the show. They R not following the plot of the books exactly. That's what makes it exciting! IMHO, I don't believe Alaric is a vamp. He learned all he could about them and has been tracking them to find out what happened to his wife.
