Performance is nice but the music is really nothing or so it seems to me. A couple of chords repeated endlessly with minor variations, it all seems to be going nowhere and for no reason or purpose. But that's my opinion about it, seems that plenty of others find this inspiring.

no, merry christmas mr lawrence is the name of the movie that this song was in, but it's actual name is forbidden colors...:D

'Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence' is the name for both the movie and the instrumental theme. 'Forbidden Colours' came out after the movie as a single, a collaboration between Sakamoto and David Sylvian. It's basically the MCML instrumental theme with Sylvian's vocal added to it. Since your version didn't contain any of the melodies that Sylvian wrote so I guess technically speaking, it should be called 'Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence'. Whatever it's called, you still played it beautifully, Bravo! ;D
