I've never followed country music, but I have vague memories of liking her TV show when I was little.
This is a great performance. I'd heard that Barbara was an amazing entertainer and it shows here. I don't think most country stars put on big productions like this. I believe Reba became known for her huge productions, too. Reba was definitely influenced as an entertainer by Barbara. (I'm still not a country fan, but I'm a new Reba fan.) 2 talented ladies - it's awesome they are buddies.

I have always known Barbara Mandrell was a genius musically, I am only now becoming aware of what an athlete she was. She got tossed around like a basketball in this video. Barbara's high energy was the key to her success, she could do anything she wanted to do. She willed herself to be the best.
