  • Thank you sir for this video, you saved me a lot of money; I appreciate the details about the oil and permatex.

  • If the GuysDont Want to Mail you the right tool for the Job then they can mind there own . Great Job . I like how you explain it. I just bought a 58 pannel bus . It needs a lot of love . Gary

  • nice twist

  • thank you for sharing your knowledge!

For those comment above YES proper tool is great but if your a good mechanic and you understand what your working on , you willl make it work! This video just showed you what steps and what to expect when you are changing your seals. Great JOB SIR! Thank you again!

  • Great video. I do have one question. I went ahead and replaced the cross shaft and 2 springs to secrure the bearing. I noticed in your video when you secured the bearing in place it moved freeley. After I installed my bearing it was pretty firm. Is this normal? Perhaps because the new springs? Thanks for any input.

  • Guess this guy never heard of using the proper tool for the job. It appears that the seal isn't inserted squarely into the bore as well. (that of course could be due to the video quality)

  • First, constructive criticism is always welcome. Sarcasm, sure.

Unfortunately, not everyone, myself include, has the proper tool for every job they do. If I dont have the proper tool I have to improvise the best I can. If I can do the job with a $5 tool and make it work, why go out and buy the proper $50 tool. Im sure all you guys laying on the ground trying to fix your cars at a price you can afford understand.

Yes, the video is bad but the seal was straight and correct.

    Jack

  • wow you never heard of too lazy to do the work you just go around doggin cars and the expect it to fix its self dont work that way if youve watched jacks videos he just got done ordering a fricken carburetor he probably dont wanna spend 40 bucks and get some brazillian made tool for the job when he can go out in the backyard and find a piece of ree-bar use that and still get the same results unlike some little prick who begs his mommy for the money well it dont work that way welcome to REALITY!
