yeah i would be careful what you say. Hey you guys won and won it well and deserved the win in 2007. But the truth is still you took 44 years to get it. Port had a side that did the impossible and made the Grand Final. They were poor on the day but in 2007 lets face it Geelong have a side far better than anyone else and I will be surprised I they don't again in 08. Port is rebuilding and that has been proven this year.

Thats your opinion mate. I don't fiynd it comical because I expected it. We don't have the depth to cover for big players we lost this year but teams like Geelong and Hawthorn do. Last year we hardly had a injury at all. We had a hard draw to start with this year and lost the games we won last year by less than 2 goals. We then basically pasked up stumps in the middle of the year for 2009. We get a few more good draft picks as well so I ain't worried about the future.

One year makes a huge difference. Look at Brisbane and Port in 05. In 04 both were nearly unbeatable but one year later they did very poorly.

There was no way Port were going to win last year and I think they knew it. They went in that mind set, and when they went a few goals down, they gave up. This season fell apart right from round 4 with the lost to brisbane. They were already 4 games behind the top teams, plus didnt play Melbourne til Rd 17 or 18.
