@HailGMAN i havnt played gmod in months but if i remember right the addons in the server are the same as your addons, but it might take other ppl longer to join if they dont have the same addons. Hint: if your playing with friends i suggest tell them to download the same addons as you so they can instantly join. + install ULX admin mod from ulyssesmod(dot)net/downloads.p­hp

@TheJagger93 I'm still completely not sure why it doesn't work sometimes but when it doesn't i suggest you try port forwarding.

When im making the settings, do i make it Local network game or not?

@Dudeguy5133 no you dont and when you do make the game type sv_lan 0 in console then restart your server and ppl can join

@brandonsg123 simple in order to make an online game you must do this so other people can join you. After these steps its as simple as going in game and clicking create multiplayer game. Besides this there are two ways people can join you . 1. Trough a lan network that connects computers from all around the us to one lan network where you can join the person if you are in the same hamachi network. and 2. PortForwarding. If this doesnt work u will need to port forward, it would be ur only hope.

@micahsky13 ok the DNS servers will automatically be set on obtain dns auto when u change the ip on auto. and they will revert back automatically when u input ur ip and gateway back in.
