I couldn't give a shit about all the themes and violence and whatever. I absolutely just love the performances, the music, the directing, the cinematography, the sets, the costumes. It's absolutely mesmerizing.
The book: In the final chapter, Alex has a new trio of droogs, but he is beginning to outgrow his taste for violence. A chance encounter with his old droog Pete, now married and settled down, inspires Alex to seek a wife and family of his own. He contemplates the likelihood that any son of his will also be violent, a prospect Alex views fatalistically.
It's a discussion of free will versus conditioning. We're doing the stage version at the Maryland Ensemble Theatre right now, and that's how we're approaching it.
@zeonXL I agree with you on that particular matter. It's just like the misunderstood concept that American Psycho has. Everyone focuses on the negative while ignoring and overlooking the real important message of the book and film

the whole point of it is that forcing someone to do good doesn't make that person or their actions good but turns them into a machine and robs them of their right to choose which is what makes them human
@kyhzer Be that sex and violence is a MAJOR part of his brain it's not all. Please do not forget the Beethoven, Symphony Number 9, which is a major idea for this character. :)

A Clockwork Orange is about whether it's more evil to be evil or to force someone to be good against their will.

@zeonXL Lol, are you trying to be "deep"? what you say is a generic cover to sound like you know something, when in reality, you say nothing.

@Evdizz It's just my opinion. Why would i worry about trying to be deep and sound intelligent on youtube? I do have a life.
