Jaws was an extremely exaggerated story that hyped up the Great White shark to an extent nothing like actual sharks in nature. Yes, sharks are very dangerous, but they are not 'assholes', they are not like humans who get angry and take it out on other things. There is a way to determine how old fossils are by nitrogin fixation or something of the like (rusty since I currently am not in biology) where you can tell how long ago the nitrogen has expired and by determining how old the fossils are (dinosaurs) you get a rough fix of the earth's age.

Sharks are damn beautiful! Seriously, i worked out at sea in Australia for 6 months and a I've seen plenty! They're just amazing. Powerful, graceful, stealthy predator machines! Awesome. I felt guilty for eating one, seriously, i had no right to cheat and destro one of natures finest. But it did taste good

R u really that stupid? Ever heard of sth called "eco-system". Around up to 70% of wordlwide oxygen production is done in the sea. If you kill the sharks, which are responsible for the stability of the eco-system sea, the O2 production will most probably collaps. So, have fun living without oxygen, tough guy. Almost all the free oxygen in the atmosphere is given off by plants. Green plants use energy from the sun to chemically combine carbon dioxide and water to produce glucose and oxygen. Plants use the glucose for food and release the oxygen into the air.This process is called photosynthesis. In no way,shape or form to sharks play a part in this process. You should probably read my comment again. For your information there actually are "green plants" ^^ (algae i.e.) in the sea. You'd better look up "eco-system" @ wikipedia. In short: everything is somehow connected and interferes with one another.

Erm. Wondering if you took Biology at all? There is a way to determine how old fossils are by nitrogin fixation or something of the like (rusty since I currently am not in biology) where you can tell how long ago the nitrogen has expired and by determining how old the fossils are (dinosaurs) you get a rough fix of the earth's age.
Btw, great little documentary. But all those teeth.... >_< Scary.

i dont think being a great white would be a relaxing life, alot of swimming, have to chase and hunt down ur food, watch out for bigger sharks and orcas. It is true about feeding the sharks but that's a very small amount of food and the people are in a boat. Probably sharks associate some boats with food. It is very possible though that sharks are starting to associate people with food although the number of yearly shark attacks hasn't really increased in the past century

Isn't a really bad idea to for humans to feed sharks? Not just for the sharks, as they should be left wild for their own well being, but for humans. I heard a marine biologist that one of the reasons sharks are attacking people. Also overfishing of course.

Maybe that's because Christians don't read the Bible in the original Hebrew and don't know that the word for day, "yom" probably did not mean "day" when the Bible was written.

The unfortunate thing is that there is so much bias being shown in some of these answers that I doubt very many of you would be able to neutrally look at both sides and make an impartial decision as to what really happened. You can argue over whether the claims of Jesus were true but you can't deny his existence. There was a man named Jesus who lived at that time - the is historical proof of that not only from the Bible but from other sources as well. A number of writers, including Jews and Romans make reference to the character and his actions.
Also the Bible isn't the only book that hasn't just faded away. Facts straight please people.

Science offers no more proof than religion. The only difference in the two is that one stays the same throughout the century and the other completely changes. There is no more proof of evolution than there is of creation. Both are simply a matter of faith. There are Evolution Scientists who can present convincing arguments, and Creation Scientists who can do the exact same thing. It all comes down to belief.
