I agree many don't understand the real Songkran...and up North is the best place to enjoy Songkran as you get the best of both worlds.

Nice video.... to bad that Songkran is turning into a tourist thing. Many young thais have no idea about the origin of Songkran or why it's celibrated, and most of the tourists have no clue at all.

To participate in a "real" Songkran party, travel to north of Thailand where Chiang Mai is the place to go.
