Meditate, you will hear things in a higher plane than say a 2 minute pop song which repeats endlessly or even a classical 'composition' which wants you to take it so seriously. In Flamenco there is a cycle (compas) chord progression and the free expression of the artist. It's not better or worse than your melodic favorites, just different. please make room!

give yourself time to get acquainted with the flamenco, it is definitely worth it

you'll hear the melodies and their variations OK once you are no more blinded (or annoyed) by the pyrotechnics.

i grew up listening 2 gipsy kings, armik, alex fox & such. nice melodies, but i kept hearing about paco, they said he is the best guitarist in the world, so i accidentally found 2 pieces 4 him @ my house: Chanela & entre dos aguas. me & my bro literally laughed @ the tunes!! they were very weird, but with time we got used 2 them. now i'm a flamenco guitarist, along with my bro and i consider flamenco 2 b the pinnacle of art, it goes in & out if ur body like magic! it's out of this world!!!

Though I wish he had sung in the end like in the album. Paco's voice is very emotional, especially to a sung dedicated to Camaron.
