  • Ive ordered the entire series of the Partridge Family on DVD. CANT WAIT! What a shame they don't make anything like the Partridge Family anymore. =(

  • Thanks for posting. One of the best shows, grew up watching this. Please keep posting. Take care.

  • One of my all time fave Partridge Family songs!! I know David was a teen idol(Mine growing up), but he still has one of the best voices, sexy and dreamy!!!!

  • @Jeff50562 u can go to channel 252 antenna tv it has all the old shows on it including this one

  • David looks nothing like his half-brothers but they're all very talented,so are the grandkids.

  • This song takes me back to when life was more simple. Nothing like the early 70's. Thumbs Up!

  • Awesome picture at 0:33!

  • One of my favorite songs of all time!

  • If you want to hear a good song called Rainmaker- look up Nilsson Rainmaker. That song is quite awesome.

  • @Greggo2 - more awesome than this???

  • U ever wish that those olden days were back again; where we would see these old shows again???

  • much stuff on you tube häh.

  • David Cassidy is so DREAMMMY

  • I still love this song. I wish they could have done it using good back up singers, instead of the ones they did. They always sounded like they were trying to sing in a key that's too high for their vocal range. Or maybe they needed to re-write the backtround harmonies, I don't know. Annoying. They just don't fit w/ David's sexy voice.

  • David Cassidy was sooo handsome!

  • Very nice! Great pics - thanx for posting! :)

  • Great song, i wonder i anyone has seen the david cassidy story, and the partridge family movie, at least the actor in the david cassidy story, looked like him to a degree and gave a good performance.

  • Damn, I had forgotten how great this song is. Your collection is stellar!! Thank you so very much for sharing such wonderful music (and videos) with Partridge fans who no longer have their vinyl.

  • I think i love you still is the most popular song ,even more than the beatles and even ..yes Michael Jackson

  • This is one of my Favorite.

I just like the Melody & Rhythm

It basic, but Simplicity is the most Beautiful ! music sometimes.

    Rain Maker.

Yes, and 10 years old Know sometimes more than grow-up.

    Love,

    Teri

  • I am only 10 years old but I can tell the 70s were the best time for music

  • David Cassidy, never recorded anything bad music. They all great songs.

  • yeah too bad he's an asshole in reallife!!

  • Yeah, I think all those pretty boys are to some degree. Sounds like you meet him at some point. I saw him on concert several years ago. He seemed like he was very appriciative of his fans, but his much older now. I don't think he knew what he had when he was acting in the Partridge Family. Very young, good looking, money, fame, women. I thinks it's also coz his father was very jealous of him. It had to effect him in a bad way. Did you meet him when his young?

  • @msegur01 I dont think I want to meet him though at one time I did. Now I follow Rick Springfield who treats his fans like gems...laughs at us when we scream instead of yells like David does. Shame he has put forth some good music.

  • @Beth4rls but you still gave him a blowjob five decades apart didnt you cameltoe queen?

  • Another great PF song from the best decade of music --the 70's!

  • lol im only twelve and i freakin LOVE the partridge family!!!

when im at school i'll b singing there songs and people look at me like im an idiot or something, lol

and when i tell people my favorite show is the partridge family, there like 'what the heck is wrong with u' lol not really but they r surprised

i like old shows and old music better than todays cuz a lot of todays music is trash and everyone has to sing and act while some cant even do either...not everyone but a lot of people

  • Great song and pictures! Thank you !!

  • My first crush-age 4- had to watch to The Partridge Family, to the dismay of the dad.

  • GROWING UP IN THE 70s WAS A HAPPY MAGICAL TIME - MARC BOLAN T.REX DAVID CASSIDY ETC ETC . . SUSAN DEY HAD MY HORMONES FLYING , , WONDER WHERE AND WHAT SHES DOING THESE DAYS ? . .

  • Oh, my my! David was so purdy to look at, wasn't he? I had such a crush on him at the time. I was...eleven, I think. Still like to listen to these wonderful songs.

  • Only David & Shirley actually sang!!!

  • Beautiful photos! Thanks for posting this. And the song is great too.

  • Love those 70s shags!

  • What a nice video. Great job.

  • I had a crush on Susan, like so many other pre-teens back then. I lived for that show and "Love, American Style" back then. I loved their music then and still like it for the memories now. As I understand it, Susan had a hard time in the end being in love with David as much of the tennie girls were at the time. He should have jumped all over her. She was 70's hot!

  • some of the first records i remember buying as a kid were david cassidy's right alongside my led zeppelin albums.

the partridge family show was sugar coated and then some, but you can't deny david cassidy's talent. that show wouldn't have existed without him and he was forever the showman in his concerts.

it's like something i remember hearing alice cooper say in a bio - david cassidy has always had the respect of many rockers. anyone that could sell out the arenas as he did, has respect!

  • I love David's singing. It's too bad the image of him was that teenybopper bubblegum idol. He was much more than that.

  • I've Known David since 1970 and was in the studio when he put these vocals down. They are the real thing man. Wes Farrell will swear on it. Those are David Cassidy's real vocals. On all the albums. Shirley Jones and Susan Dey sang also. There is nothing fake here dude. Just well recorded rock albums.

  • Yeah, I was in the studio too, and Brian Forster did all the drum tracks - he'd previously subbed for Jeremy Gelbwaks, who couldn't cut it in the studio. And Suzanne Crough was a master of the tambourine and triangle - all the LA studio percussionists were in awe of her chops.

  • Were you really in the recording studio with David back in 1970? How awesome is that?! (Psst, typo in your age on your channel page.) Not sure if you're replying to someone stating that it's not really David Cassidy singing, but you must remember that there are some TRACKS on the first album that don't feature his vocals. Perhaps this is what the person meant? Recorded before Wes Farrell knew David could sing, leads on those songs (e.g. To Be Lovers) were done by the Bahler brothers.

  • Really? Dey never sang a note on the albums. Not too credible in my book, chief!

  • Nice song!

The Partridge Family never got their just due as a good group.

But I think that people are starting to realize that they were better than some groups that are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The Partridge Family will be more loved in the years to come.

Perhaps a Hall of Fame is in that future.

Their many hits is one reason why.

    Thank you!

    George Vreeland Hill

  • You are very welcome.

  • I was 16 in 69 so I grew up listenig to a variety of music. Beatles, Stones, Motown, you name it. • I love the pic at :30!

  • Even though the Partridge Family was never a real band the music is great very clean and good beat. Wish more music was like this today instead of all the words you would never say to any one you had respect for.

  • Please put back the 'original live video' on You Tube. Thanks.

  • None of the ones you have mentioned were mine. Sorry

  • Okay, this song can stand up to any great 70s tune. It's full of passion and it rocks. Thank you for all your videos!!!
