this was truly a touching service. As a child of one of these fallen officers that had their name added to the wall, i was honored to have been surrounded by such wonderful people. My father was killed not even two months before my fourteenth birthday. Even though no one story is the same, we all share a similar grief. Rest in peace dad. Detective Chris Jones 4466 EOW January 29, 2009.
@davidkent2157 Guess who will still come to your home when you call 911? You guessed it, the police. It doesn't matter what you say or feel, we all know the police will be there to help. You are just a coward behind a keyboard and obviously you like the police to some capacity because you decided to watch this video.
Glad to see this video posted. I missed it on TV, but this is really powerful. I think that the police are true heroes who are defending our communities every day. So hats off to you guys in blue. Thanks for everything you've done thus far for us in our community. :)
I am also proud to have participated in this beautiful candlelight vigil. My Father was a Sheriff who was shot and killed in the line of duty. It NEVER gets easier.
God Bless all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for us. May they be at Peace in Paradise.
And may God give the families of Fallen Officers the strength to endure all they must go through for the rest of their lives...
Thank you for sharing this wonderful moving video with those of us who could not be there. God bless all of my sisters & brothers in blue, black, tan or brown. You are my heros. Thank you.

Well, look at it this way: They won't be harassing motorists or beating the daylights out of handcuffed people anymore ...
