fascinating. the lead didnt burn/melt. and it took rather a long time for that wood to burn o.- the heck kinda wood is that. it wouldn't even properly catch fire there for a while. maybe tis the paint...ah well. interesting to watch at least.
@1CaptainAustralia1 everyone calls it lead, even after they learn its graphite as a child. It just rolls off the tongue easier, Lead, rather than Graphite

there is lead present in pencils to give a bold black color. Although pure graphite pencils are rarely available and are expensive.
