When I play it, I just mute out the first two strings with the same hand I use for the chords, just mute, it might be a little trouble at first, but it's pretty useful when you get used to it.

Tune the bottom string down to D. Then tune your ADGBE strings down one step. Then your tuned a whole step down. From there tune your D string down to C. You can search it up on Youtube if you want.
