  • Gotta love that Eigo!

  • Haha, I love these vids of yours!

  • Thanx!

  • Mai's Arabic writing was really nice. I can read and write Arabic and I used to think that was hard until I started learning Japanese recently, not so much anymore! =)

  • Is your school for children of Japanese parents that were born overseas?

Sorry if this sounds offensive, just guessed that there aren't many Japanese who even knows "words" like 'gurl', etc.

  • Some of my students lived overseas, but not the girl with the "gurl" t-shirt. But if you study a language intensively while you are still young, it is amazing how much progress they can make...

  • kansaipj this is like fav, i watch it all the time!

do you know how they did the stuff on the t -shirts? was it permanent market?

  • Glad you liked the vid so much! Yeah, I think they used permanent markers. I was also told to get some kind of spray to make the markings last, so I gotta go do that soon for my t-shirt...

  • is that students name えいご i don't know if i heard him right? if that is his name thats pretty cool and funny!

  • Yeah, his name is Eigo, but it does not mean 'English'. The Japanese language has a large number of homonyms.

  • Your school looks very nice. I'm looking forward to more videos. n_n

  • Thanks darrenmykel~!

  • such a tragic story, evangelion that is.

  • Thanks mikakostar. Yeah, I guess Sports Day closest equivalent would be Field Day.

I am lucky, my students are a lot of fun.

  • ahaha wow the girls go all out!

    xD

so its sort of like field day?

i miss those days, maybe if we had things like this in american high schools maybe we can learn on how to love school more :D

XD ur students seem so fun

  • Very cool stuff. Thanks for sharing! :)

  • Very neat. That arabic looked dam nice! haha

  • الصيد لي إذا كنت تستطيع

  • they ARE cool. i luv the arabic t-shirt so cool! ani's is really cool too, i LUV manga!

  • Looks like a lot of fun. I can't wait to watch Sports Day. I guess the equivalent here in America would be field day that I had back in elementary school. But, in our high schools, we don't get those types of days anymore. It's all about work and all that stupid stuff. Oh well.

Well, I hope you have a great time and tell us all about it. ^_^

  • You're students are awesome. They look like they're a lot of fun to be around. Good luck on Sports Day!

  • your students are very talented and they speak English well. I guess you are very good teacher.

  • I've watched the Evangelion anime series so this was kinda an extra treat - your students are incredibly talented artists! And if postera are the gateway to geekdome then I'm in trouble lol...ps loved the blur affect at the end - macs rule ;-)

  • Glad your back. Noticed JLW2 was gone. Jumping around a lot these days... Don't let the evil Utube copyright monster get you!!!

    And macs do rule! :-)

  • thank you for these entertaining videos...

the shy girl is really good in writing in Arabic.

  • Thanks. I will tell her that~!

  • I loved that man! Please make more videos of your students they are very cool!

  • Mocho Boi and Mocho Gurl is really cute <3!!!

    Awesome vid!

Can't wait till next time - till then I'll

let my freak flag fly ^.~ haha!

  • Very cool vid PJ. Sounds like your students have a very high level of English. I taught some highschool students in Seoul for a few months and their English was nowhere as good. Have many of your students lived abroad?

    Thanks for the vid.

Hope you have a great time in Tokyo! Say hi to Kris when you see her :)

    Cheers

    Kev

  • Hey Kev. Yeah, many of them have all lived abroad for bits of time. It is an intensive English program focusing on communicative fluency, so even the ones who have not lived abroad do okay. I am proud of them and a little envious - wish I could speak Japanese half as well as they speak Japanese.

I'll tell Kris you said hello. TTYL.

  • 宇宙からの刺客

Agent... more like Agent Smith type of agent.

    "Assassin From Space"

    Coolness.

  • Thanks for that ElevenColors.

  • Awesome vid! Your kids rawk! :)

Show that one girl my video with my Star Wars poster in the background - she is not alone! :)

and there is a big fan celebration for SW coming to Tokyo soon - I really want to go!

I'm really gonna miss taiikusai when I leave - it's so much fun every year!

  • Hey Jason. Glad you enjoyed it. BTW, I had a Star Wars poster in my youth... so I was not really making fun of Natsumi, as much as I was pulling her chain. It's a game we play with each other...

I will show my geekiness in an upcoming vblog about my using Galactica in school. Stay tuned!

  • wow you have your undokai in june? is it common to have it so late in the first term in kansai? Here most schools tend to have it around the beginning of October and some in May.

  • I think most public schools in the Kansai also stick to the common pattern, either May or October. But I work at a private school. We have always done it in June.

  • love your students!

  • So do I !

  • nice vid ..when i get older i want to be just like PJ haha ..oh and i have 2 star wars posters in my room >.>

  • I was just teasing Natsumi about being a geek... I am probably a bigger SF geek than anyone I know. I admit that.

    ;-)

  • Great job kansaipj! Loved it! Keep up the great work.

  • Does the girl at 1:00 have a chinese accent or is it just me?

    Awesome video though!

    As usual.

  • Thanks JustSujC. Ani lived in China when she was little. Very international girl!

  • sorry but i watched it and it rocked!!!!!

  • Hehe. Thanks pedoro4477. I've been having trouble with uploading lately. Videos are having sound/pic delays, or other such technical difficulties. This is my 5th try uploading this. I hope it turned out. A couple of glitches in the beginning of the vid, but good enough I hope! Thanks for watching.
