  • Thx for the demonstration very helpful :)

  • Is this kid 8?

  • hey guys, i was wondering i have an acer aspire 5749 2338g75mikk

it is i3 processor ,can i get an i7 processor and just swap it round

thx guys hope u can help me so plzzzz reply :)

  • Good work!

  • how do i install the cooling fan over this cpu ? how do i use thermal paste etc. those are more tricky things.

  • @TheSweetPerry there's plenty of videos on hot to that. You want to apply a rice-sized amount of thermal paste. Every cooler is different.

  • same thing on a laptop???

  • @allapollo1 NO!!! Upgrading cpu's in laptops is practically impossible.

  • @iHackUrMac well i have a laptop and its processor is like 1,3 ghz. i buy a new computer with (not laptop) with very low ghz or do i buy a goodone???

  • @allapollo1 Well it all depends what your doing,

  • @iHackUrMac i want a processor what runs games good.

  • @allapollo1 Well to play games you need a good gpu more than anyting.

  • @iHackUrMac theres plenty of laptops that can upgrade cpu's

  • @DeterminedFC yes i realize that, but on most it's really difficult.

  • Can i intsall a intel core i5 2500 into a Acer Aspire laptop with windows 7?

  • @XxSnipeDatFacexX Prabably not :(

  • @MrIwesseli such a shame :( i bought the laptop mid last yeat :( cant play barley anything on it hopefully in 2 years time im getting my own built desktop PC

  • @XxSnipeDatFacexX Don't get a laptop :P they just as expensive as a mid range gaming pc :P

  • is it safe to touch the motherboard? i fear that i`l damage it if i touch it.can it take light taps from my finger or do i have to be extremely careful with it?

  • @TheNinwii just as long as your working in an antistatic environment, also don't touch it in the sensitive parts.

  • @iHackUrMac

i got those antistatic bands, even though the building environment is almost solely wood. im not going to intentionally touch the parts, but im used to take many safety measures as im often working with electricity at more than 100 volt, so im a little unsure how i should handle sensitive electronics like this

  • @TheNinwii if you have any more doubts watch carey holzman's how to build a gaming computer. It's the best guide on how to build a computer

  • @TheNinwii MoBos are extremely strong as long as you're wearing you're ESD wrist band your good to go just don't touch the pins in the socket

  • Im new with all this haha so you help me a lot, thanks! this is my first time a will install all the parts of the pc thanks !

  • Can you install Intel Core i3 into a Windows XP Home Edition 2002?

  • @rEYMAN529 windows xp is the os, not the motherboard you need to see if the mobo is compatible with i3. But if you meant can you install windows xp on a computer with an i3, yes you can

  • @iHackUrMac alright, thanks man

  • have fun blowing up your cpu, when it fries from the oil you just put on it. Also, where da heatsink/cpu cooling man?

  • @mchlshires k, for one i didn't have any grease on my hands, secondly the cpu is running at normal temps, and the title says how to install the cpu not the heatsink

  • @mchlshires ooooooooo then thats his problem.... and who cares maby he cleaned it after... idiot

  • @mchlshires lol you make it sound like he just dunked his hands into a deep frier before starting.

besides he is 100x more likely to have damaged the cpu with static from his hands than with the oil on his fingers

  • When I put the cpu down to the mainboard, I have to exert a lot

I'm afraid it will damage the cpu or mainboard

  • @mawemawe is it compatible with your motherboard

  • @mawemawe is the cpu made for your motherboard? caz if not then your really bad with computers

  • @TheQuantumGamers

    yes my cpu i5 2400 , mainboard asrock h67m

  • Aren't you supposed to thermal paste it?

  • @GameTiem yea when you install the heatsink

  • Does the processor holder thingy look the same on all desktops and laptops? And if not does an Intel core i5 work in a Toshbia laptop? Because I make videos in Sony Vegas and it's a bitch to render at 1.00 GHz/s or whatever it is. Please respond because I need to know. Btw, your a boss for being able to do this when you sound like you're like 14.

  • @TeChXKiNG You can't change the processor on a laptop, but for desktops, it'll pretty much be the same, just make sure the cpu is compatible with the motherboard

  • @iHackUrMac So there is no possible way to change my processor? So I pretty much need to buy a new laptop? That sucks major donkey balls man :'(

  • @TeChXKiNG haha it does, u might be able to find some good deals for black friday or cyber monday

  • @iHackUrMac actually before i watched your video i saw a few that showed how to with a laptop. but i have to take out the keyboard. alright whatever, thanks for the info man

  • @TeChXKiNG It's not true that you cannot change your laptop CPU. Most times, your CPU is fine (even after a shut or fluid pouring on the laptop). It's your motherboard that often fries. If you need to change your CPU because you want to upgrade it or change it for any matter, YES you can. I have been changing them for over 15 years!!!

  • @iHackUrMac Of course you can change the processors on both laptops and desktops. You can do both laptop and desktop CPU upgrade following the instruction on the motherboard manual that tells you what type of CPU the motherboard supports.

  • OMG....thank you! I was totally freaking out about pushing down the lever cus there was so much resistance. Then i heard like a tweaking noise,i was breathing super heavy, actually- I was panting profusely. Lol. Then I was like STOP! ILL YOUTUBE IT! And ur video is wat i chose to look at. Thanks man. Gave me the assurance to go ahead and push the lever down. Lol

  • @deathangelmuffin Glad i could help!

  • great video bro. Best video for installing the processor as some other videos are too blurry. Thanks. Imma check if you got one on cpu fan..

  • do you use any anti static products like those wristbands?

I've seen alot of people just install the cpu with their bare hands but I don't wanna risk it

  • @nd316 no i didnt use one because i was doing this in the kitchen

  • @nd316

I've heard that when you touch the pin of an wall socket, you don't have any static electric on yourself...

  • Thanks... Does this work with core i7???

  • @SilkyZeus Yes it does.
