The song is called Danger Approaches, also called Sin's Presence in the Japanese translation. It's played in about 65% of the bosses in that game, being played during all sin / sinspawn fights (minus the exception of Jecht) and during the battle with Evrae, the guardian worm, and during one Seymour fight, on Gagazet. It is also played when fighting fiends in Luca, the Blitzball Cannon boss, and the Squid boss aboard the sunken vessle in Bahj Ocean.

I remember the gold ol' days trying stopping for a few minutes to think of a strategy to beat the boss.I miss those days.FF13 is like "MASH THE X BUTTON!!! MASH IT!!!".Don't get me wrong I love the game! But I miss sitting quietly on the chair while playing and listening to songs like this when everything you do is critical.

And I remember hearing this song everytime test papers were given back.

FFX is the only FF i played though :p, but from what i've heard it was one of the best.

if u have trouble i know how to easy kill him i know u cant use yuna but as soon as u get to anima summon shiva (???)

then just atk and when he uses pain use blizzard orso on shiva when shiva is about to fall use her overdrive to deal more dmg he allways has an way of atk

like pain that speed thingy when anima reaches od ur screwed so let an aeon block it best is shiva cuz she is olmost dead or is dead then the best is vailfor

keep this strategy up

and charge ur aeon overdrive and try to remmember which element seymour before he summoned anima cuz he has an patern use an weapon with libra function to see what he gonna use an summon that type of aeon so u absorb the hits and then hit seymour dead with an heavy overdrive(seymour second for has 6000hp) easy for 1 overdrive if he survived it let the aeon die maybe he survives in that case give seymoure everything u got AND DONT USE UR NORMAL CHARACTERS its an garantue dead with seymour but

I just wish they could capture the epicness that Uematsu brought to the FF series from I-IX. Even Sakimoto made a really incredible sounding boss theme for XII. The X boss theme isnt bad, but is tame by comparision to I-IX and XII.

I remember that once I bought a faulty FFX game that always stopped in the beginning when you are being attacked by Sin off the coast of Besaid. This song would play and repeat for hours, and with a picture of the boat on screen. We'd just sit there and call it "boat". And then we'd laugh because since it was messed up, all it was was a boat with epic-sounding music. How would I describe it? "HOLY SHIT ITSA BOAT ITSA BOAT HOLY SHIT A BOAT" That's kind of what it felt like.

I love X's boss battle because it's so serious, deep and dramatic. It really paints a picture in your head about how dark and hopeless Spira was.
