By the time I returned home from the shitty centre I had learnt several different useless languages from hearing all the third world illegal shit that is so abundant in Stoke what a city.
I wish I had been born elsewhere but because of the Stoke Pottery Industry boom in the 1930s my parents moved there for work but that was short lived since they began closing most of the Pottery factories from the late 1950s until the 1980s. Now it's a dull, ugly place with a lot of abandoned buildings and believe me if you want to find a job there you can go dream! Even if (like me) you've completed Uni and got all GCSE grades there's still nothing, it's a real shit hole, every1 there agrees.

@emosarahxoxo We don't really have the pottery industry though, not any more. Robbie Williams doesn't live here, he just happened to grow up here... he moved away as soon as he got the chance. The "cool plays" tend to be countrywide productions, nothing exclusive to Stoke. If you've done a lot of travelling around England, you'll know Stoke-on-Trent is certainly one of the worst places around (No offence, lol ;D ) especially the rougher parts of the city.

I wish I had been born elsewhere but because of the Stoke Pottery Industry boom in the 1930s my parents moved there for work but that was short lived since they began closing most of the Pottery factories from the late 1950s until the 1980s. Now it's a dull, ugly place with a lot of abandoned buildings and believe me if you want to find a job there you can go dream! Even if (like me) you've completed Uni and got all GCSE grades there's still nothing, it's a real shit hole, every1 there agrees.

Your comment does prove the exception to the rule, you are clearly a nice person but the average inhabitant of Stoke as you say refuses flatly to learn anything new. We have Robbie Williams, the Spitfire, Phil 'The Power' Taylor, amazing theatres with cool plays, the oatcakes, and we have the pottery industry (why do you think we are called the potters from the potteries eh???). Yeah the place is a bit messy but it's a damn sight better than other places in this country. So don't diss us Stokies yeah.

@emosarahxoxo We don't really have the pottery industry though, not any more. Robbie Williams doesn't live here, he just happened to grow up here... he moved away as soon as he got the chance. The "cool plays" tend to be countrywide productions, nothing exclusive to Stoke. If you've done a lot of travelling around England, you'll know Stoke-on-Trent is certainly one of the worst places around (No offence, lol ;D ) especially the rougher parts of the city.
