i got a goliath bird eater a about 3 months ago and she was way agressiv when i got her but now she is slowing down and has not eaten for about 4 weeks and her abdomen has a black look to it the temp in cage is about 80 and humidity is about 60 i was thinking she was geting ready to moult. but now i am thinking she is just sick. what am i doing wrong???

I'm from the Netherlands and I noticed that the hobby is especially big in germany.

We have a huge variety of species availlable to us and a lot of it comes from excellent German breeders.

I've bred Zilla about 9 times....I think she is gravid and has been digging out her hide - something they usually do shortly before laying sac so I have my fingers crossed!!

I always thought my Pederseni was the fastest of my Tarantulas, I named it Adrian (after Adrian Peterson, RB from the Vikings, cuz the names are similar) Careful once that gets some size to it, had mine bite me underneath my arm a few weeks ago, very painful.

yeah, those formosas are cool. i´m trying to get one on saturday: huge tarantula market here in germany called "terraristika". in hamm to be ecaxt. maybe you´ve heard about it. it´s the worlds biggest market for spiders, snakes, scorpions and what not.
