One of chinas prototype planes that will be named the J-xx in in future.One of there prototypes is a copy of the F-22 and i mean copy it looks very close.

Hey Im wanna build one,This will be my 1st build although I can fly. I already got the plans but where is the approximate Center of Gravity and where did you mount the battery and how do you access the internals?

@MicRuLerZ the cg is roughly three inches behind the where the front of the main wing meets the fuselage. not where the canards meet though. the battery fits in the underside of the nose, internally. the rest of the stuff, the esc and reciever are in the belly through a belly hatch.

@playdeaths nope, but if i could make plans for other scratch builders, i'd give them away for free. scratch builders shouldn't have to pay for plans. i would pay for a kit myself if someone made one, just to save time, but i dunno where to even start.... let dave powers try to get money out of everyone for very simple plans and kits. part of scratch building is because it's cheaper and the satisfaction of the build. but if you have any suggestions for a mass produced kit or something, i'm open.

@BRANDORC You must have had an excellent understanding of aerodynamics to build that from scratch. And no, this plane is not ugly. Combining the eurofighter and the f22 made it possibly one of the coolest looking planes in development. Especially if china decided to use the same paint job as yours.

@JohnTraviss thanks man, that's the only reason i put as much time as i did with shaping the canopy and nose because the design of this one is just gorgeous in my opinion. i couldve done a simple profile plane but this one makes me feel like the ferrari 458 italia..... it just looks right, from every angle. as far as the paint, the foam was baby blue and i slapped some dark gray acrylic paint and somehow the color came out the way it did. thanks for your comment, i might just rebuild this again.

took it out today, very underpowered for it's size and weight, but man what a stable plane. only got a few minutes of footage. so i will have to fly it again to compile enough footage for a video. got a lot to talk about as far as the aerodynamics are concerned. a few tweaks are in order and should be very usefull for other scratch builds. video will be up asap!

Another cool video. Right when you think you've seen all the cool ideas then someone else comes up with another one. Like what you did with the ailerons. So, what kind of speed control and lipo are you going to use?

2000 mah 3 cell, 30 amp speed control, 2200kv motor w/6x4 prop. hopefully its enough juice to get this big heavy thing in the air. just waitin for a good day to take it out, i cant wait!
