How very sad. There can be NO excuse for abusing defenceless animals. Man can be so cruel, it makes me ashamed to be human. All life is precious and we can't get more work from a person through beating them or wearing them out.  :0(

umm, these horses are in a different country? the fight is for the horses in the USA right? These horses r used as a life style over their meaning a living not recreation fun and sport. They r lucky 2 fed themselves and their family. Have u ever looked into pig slaughter? pigs have it alot worse than horses did or will. Dont believe me? do a search for "Undercover Pig Farm Investigation" very sad be warned. Horses never suffered like this!!

you would think honestly that in apalce where animals are apart of every day life, an are a means for survival that they would take beter care of them or least try to. A healthy animal works beter....

I can't handle watching this kind of bull shit. I start crying a lot every time I see horse abuse. I work at stable were we have had 10 horses come in from abuse and 3 have died. I feel better knowing we send food to abused horses.

although i admire the work they do they are patched up and sent back to more of the same,,,there should be laws protecting these poor abused animals,,i know the bottom line is poverty but there is no need for such terrible cruelty to those animals ...nothing excuses that,,,,

Laws are great, but enforcement of those laws in a third world country would be poor.

But I do agree this is horrible, its just sad that nothing can be done about it on a large scale. sure we can save individuals, but the masses still suffer.
