  • As a 4AD enthusiast (and Lisa Gerrard/Heavenly Bodies fan), I never new such a collaboration existed!

  • Fantastic song

  • Heavenly Bodies has a fantastic album out called Celestial and Caroline Seamen definately holds her own vocally on the album. Great music and 'Time Stands Still' is a standout track! Check it out people!

  • Beautiful both physically and vocally.

  • Wow! Her voice reminds me of Diamanda Galas. Very dramatic!

  • didn't know this one, wow, great, pleasure and pain, beautiful!

  • Great thanks for posting this!

  • Wow! I'm fascinated! - Thank you for sharing this wonderful song with us!

  • Check out Lisa's audio interview on filmmusicradioDOTcom she's wonderful!!

  • I can't find any Lisa Gerrard or Dead Can Dance interview on the site you mentioned. Can you provide a link?

  • you tube doesn't allow links. just go to the homepage of filmmusicradio and her interview is right there. top of the page

  • Is this the same group Heavenly Bodies that did the track "Rains on Me"? The album "Celestail" was on C'Est La Mort label, and I believe the vocalist Caroline was also on This Mortal Coil.

  • Exactly!

Just they later found Caroline Seaman to sing on their "Celestial" debute

  • @zantheum I hope they re-release "Celestial"... I have it on cassette, but I would love to have a digital version as I no longer have a tape player, lol!

  • @dfemme: Rains on Me- has been uploaded. Time stands still and Sendero luminoso will be next!

  • Yes, it's the same group. Peter Bourke, from HB, was in DCD for a time.

  • p bourke never played with this group, and was not performing with DCD at this time.

  • Lycia, it is definitely not a crime not to know about something. It is a crime to pretend to know something and present it as true when it is not true !!! So please check your sources! As Robert says, Peter Bourke came really late in Lisa life: he never ever had to do with Dead Can Dance...

    Yours. Bruno

  • no he wasn't

  • not quite... this is an entirely started by the percussionist james pinker, who played in the heavenly bodies.... very different musical style, n'est ce pas?

  • dreams made flesh please

  • this song sound like the early incantation of the song balyar!!!!

  • GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!! I want (need) more!!! ;-)

It's so great, it's so amazing, it's so wonderful, it's so... Lisa! :-)

Thx so much for sharing this video!!!

Breathtaking, overwhelming... can't find the right words to express what i feel... Just great!! :-)

  • AMAZING. DO U HAVE MORE?

  • Thanks so much for sharing. I remember yet having heard this song in the late 80s in Marseille in France in a small concert. Lisa is just amazing... as usual!

  • MORE!!!

  • I think I know the dcd pretty well: I've never, ever heard that song before: where did you get it for god sake?

  • Ah... because it's an unreleased track written & performed mainly by the DCD stage backing musicians "Heavenly Bodies", but you still can find the live audio track and an incomplete studio track in an unofficial DCD concert album called "Unreleased Tracks Vol.1". Hope you enjoy it as much as I do ;-)

  • takes me back to bonnington square
